Just wondering if I should just toss these & move on.

First time grower here. Made every possible mistake. It's a learning experience, anyway.
These are autos at 6 weeks old & 3 weeks flowering. Smaller (30") is haze xl and larger one (36") is gorilla glue.
These are getting worse by the hour it seems. I think it's under watering & lack of nutes. Not sure though. Using MG soil & blurple 1000 watt led drawing 225 watts. No nutes...thought the soil had me covered. Since found out it's the worst soil I could have used. I've got flower stacker 0-7-5 that I added per instructions a few days ago. Plant started rapid decline days after flowering began.
I've no problem tossing these so I can try this again the right way. I'm sure this is probably a laughable question, but, I was just wondering if there may be anything salvageable at this point (smoke) if I cut them down now. Or should I trash them and start again. Oh, I also saw a 2 tiny white worm/caterpillar things with many legs in the water run off, after a heavy watering couple days ago. Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

What kind of MG soil did you use?

Im brutal and am quick to kill, if you have seeds you could always start them and see how these proceed, or take some cutting on those girls if you have a separate area to clone. I am not that good at indoor grow and find it such a pain in the ass if something goes wrong to get a good finish before the plant melts, which is why I am quick to kill (if I have enough to not need that plant too is something to consider).

Might check the PH of your water too, if you're using tap water.

i wouldnt throw em away! finish this run and take it as a learning experience. Ive seen worse lol. Yellowing from the bottom up is usually a N issue, do you know the NPK values of the nutrients you used?
It was their potting mix. I had read that it feeds for 3 months. It's N - 0.21%, P - 0.11%, K - 0.16%. So I didn't add anything for a couple weeks at which point I added an npk of 5-5-5. They looked pretty good the first couple weeks, grew quick and filled right out. Then the leave got a real dark green & bottom ones started turning yellow with brown spots that grew. Now it's all the way up and a lot of leaves are dried and brittle. The flowers are still growing though. I've since done a lot of reading up on this and can clearly see the mistakes I've made...lol Here's another pic

It's their potting soil mix, supposedly feeds for 3 months (21-11-16)
Did it happen to mention how big a "pot" you needed for the 3 months? I've used Coast of Maine Platinum Growers Blend for some outdoor autos, but they recommend 15 gallon pots for the "set it and forget it" water only mode.
As for the plants you have? No reason to throw them out ... just get some nutes and take them through harvest, trim, and cure. You're already on a learning curve, finish the cycle before you start more plants.
You didn't say anything about the dimensions of your grow area. 225w blurples will grow plants, but that's about the right size to flower a 2x2. If there's room in the budget you should consider upgrading before the next grow cycle.
You'll need a basic formulation and in addition a flowering add on. I use Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop with Bud Explosion and Sweet Candy, but I'm sure there will be lots of recommendations about what to feed them. Whatever you do, don't wait too long to serve them dinner. It's really inexpensive (you mix it yourself) and works like crazy.,

Hell yes to that.

It's all well and dandy when I throw away plants that are half way through flower because I'm just running experiments, don't like the way a plant is growing, or because I am making space for some other project, but this a first grow, and those plants don't look overly bad for a first time grow.

There's lots to learn here with what you've got. Perfect opportunity to learn all about pH, nutrients, EC/PPM etc before your second grow.

If you kill 'em in the process of trying to fix them, you'll at least have learned what not to do in a similar situation in the future.

Miracle Grow is not for MJ plants. People try to go with it on the cheap and it's the moistue control brand with extra perlite added in and you need to skim some of the nutrient balls out so it doesn't fry the plant. After all that you could've spent $15 more on Fox Farm Ocean Forest, a real good soil.

Honestly, I never even thought about the size of the pot making a feeding difference. Obviously, that makes sense. I used 2.5 gal bottom watering pots. I won't do that again (bottom water). My grow closet us 30" x 20" x 72". It's vented with 4" inline fan with carbon filter. I keep it around 73 - 78° and 35 - 50% humidity. And my waters at 6.5. I'll only ever grow 1 or 2 plants at a time, so the space works for me. The light was cheap (1000W Maxsisun pulling 225) I'll definitely buy a different light & good soil for the next run. I didn't want to invest much for the first grow, not knowing if I'd enjoy it much. I actually enjoy it a lot & look forward to doing it right next time. Any recommendations for a light for this space, say under $400? Appreciate all the info and advice. Thanks!

@Lime nailed it. Don't trash them, just feed them. Buy some nutes. Miracle grow doesn't have much nutes in it to begin with and always has to be fed in flower. If you re-use it, you will have to feed entire cycle, like it was promix. If you have to use it, really needs a 20% perlite addition.
Save your grow and live to grow another day. You'll get better.

With a 225 @ the wall light, you got some buds. Not too shabby, but you'll need more light at some point, to really kick it.

Lots of good lights for that space. You only have about 4 sq feet so you'd be looking for around 150w of high quality HID or LED in comparison to the blurple where you need twice that (and still will get worse results).

Personally id go with this guy:

A pair of these would also be great:

I'd personally get 1 x 4000k and 1 x 3000k if i went with the HLG so you had a good mixed spectrum for both veg and flower.

And this would be the budget option:

So it's been around 3 weeks since I was going to toss these out and start over. Glad I didn't. Thanks to everyone & your advice I was able to get them to this point. They look better in person than the pics. Yes, they are way far from great & look remarkably bad, but I did clip a bud, dried it quickly and tested it. Wow. It's an incredible feeling to be rewarded by the fruits of your labor. It's good. A little too good for my taste. So I'd like to go for a good percentage of the trikes turning amber. The bud I tested (GG) was around 75% milky and 25% clear. The haze xl is like 50/50 right now. I haven't seen much of a change in the last 5 days or so for either.
So my question is: will these trichomes eventually start turning amber? ...or is this it? I start looking at them under a scope & next thing I know is a goddamn hour has gone by! I do it daily...couple times a day...It's like I'm waiting for something to happen while I'm watching...lol Anyway, they still drink water daily, like 750ml each, so I'm assuming they are still alive?

From what i see a lot is some autos won't amber much if at all even if you let her go till leaves start falling and dying. Most importantly make sure they have little to no clear and have become cloudy. Hope those clouds turn amber. Harvest window is 2 weeks if i recall, so once you see all cloudy max 2 more weeks and cut her so the THC doesn't degrade.
