K2 pounder

So I got a batch of k2 seeds from nirvana a while back. Germed them all n non of them made it. Well except for this one !
I planted it around 7-10 it sprouted the 18th so it is now bout 18 days old. I’ve already topped it. Even tho it didn’t need it it’s already got 4-5 shoots on it jus from being so exposed by this new light I got. (Mars hydro ts1000)

it is in promix bx w 2tablespoons of marine cuisine and a tablespoon n a half of happy frog all purpose. I am not using any nutes right now besides maybe a tad of kangaroots on it’s 3rd week mark. Soil is dry as of now. Last watering was the 31st. Will get more pics soon.

ProMix doesn't have any nutes so you'll have to give it a proper feeding soon but looking OK so far other than those spots that look suspiciously like thrip damage so I'd get a magnifying glass and go bug hunting.

Good luck!

Thank you for noticing actually. Wasn’t sure what it could be thought it could have been from splash from nutes. I gave her a little big bloom 7/31.
This is the only plant in promix. I have seen bugs in the soil once before I’ve planted. Was gonna throw some neem oil on it.
My one photo bag seed had a shit ton of red ants at the base of her fat lil self. Sprayed thr shit out of it and took a chunk of the soil that had the best in it n chucked it. Sprayed the remaining dirt a lil bit. i also sprayed Some neem on the one auto that’s budding it’s 9weeks old tmm and it’s in its 3rd week of flower. Is that okay ? Will that make it taste different ? I’ve heard neem is safe for pot plants.

I picked the first set of fan leaves to allow light to all the tops so far. Plan to feed it on the 8th some big bloom grow big and kangaroots. Any advice let me know. I would really like to get into worm casting teas and also molasses for my plants in flower. Any advice on that would be great.

I would be finding and identifying any bugs before hitting them with anything. Thrips and mites live in the canopy so soil treatments are useless against them. You're still in veg so neem or other sprays won't affect the buds but you want to be rid of any pests before you flower as then you're f'ed.

Make sure you have a problem before doing anything tho. Find out what those bugs are you saw in the soil too. Yellow stucky strip just above the soil will catch adult fungus gnats if present but they don't feed on the leaves. Their larvae feed on the roots then emerge as adults that just mate then lay eggs on the damp soil. Often in bags of soil/soilless too so get them out of the room.

Get a magnifying glass and find out who is hanging around.

I’m new to growing. I’ve been researching how to keep a mother plant but now that I think of it April is pretty far away. Even if I was to Take some cuttings and flower it out. I’d take this one and one of the best out of the two grease monkey plants. These autos need about another 5-6 weeks. These photos should have enough space but if It’s too tight of a fit we can Throw some spit on it n cram em in

I got a bunch of plants I've kept alive in 3" pots since last July so over a year. Some people keep moms alive for 10 years so it can be done.

Always best to get clones from any unkown plants before flowering in case they turn out to be the fire you're looking for. I've lost a few good ones over the last 20 years.

What is this shit ?? Is is an overdose of the dry newts ? Is it bugs ? I did recently spray neem in the whole closet. I put a tablespoon n a half of happy frog and marine cuisine. Prolly a stupid move I didn’t think it would all start working right away. I literally jus transplanted it.. what do you guys recommend and what do you think this is ?

I'm not seeing any nute burn but some of those spots sure look like bugs at work. Have you hunted for them yet with a magnifying glass?

Don't wait or they will eat your crop if they are there.

4 out of 6 are flowering. Switched to 12-12 Friday. Gonna actually take the ones that aren’t flowering and put them outside. The one seems to have a deficiency or abundance of something that’s making the leaves very dark. And when I feed the leaves wilt bad. Her and the other one that were originally from outside and stuck in once I got my light at like 3 weeks. The other ones fine in color jus looks stunted. Maybe once flowering engages it will double size like these have. We’ll see.
