kill pathogens with high-pressure water!

Salutations,

Apparently if we pressurize pathogens hard enough then they start to die from being crushed:

Naturel HPP ("Natur+L XTD" process)

A canadian first in St-Hyacinthe

Naturel HPP is the first and only company that offers cold processing for food preservation in Canada using High Pressure Processing (HPP). HPP uses pure cold water (mostly recycled) to pasteurize foods. Safer, fresher, longer lasting foods for consumers will maximize business opportunities for YOU, food processors.
So, why not cannabis?? ...

Simply asking, just in case.

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

For one pressurized water will destroy cannabis tissue. As for oxidation, H2O2 will destroy cannabis tissue at a concentration lower than that needed to kill the spider mite. if you want to clean the system with high pressure water, then that's another story.

I don’t mind blowing aphids from
citrus trees with high pressure water from the garden hose, fucked if I’m blasting my meds with the hose.
I don’t wet buds, it’s against my religion

Oxidation? H2O2??

In any case this wouldn't take away all of the "legal" critters poop, would it?...

Actually i much prefer mine extra-dry but i'll bet that's blashemy on multiple radars too, smoker ones to begin with...

You can spray your plants with ozonated water to kill pathogens and bacteria.

Hummm... Perhaps those antiquated videos ain't novel enough:

Natur+L XTD English (2011-May-7)
High Pressure Processing Alberta (2012-Jan-18)

Or maybe it's still not tested. Déjà vu...

Not sure how you would apply that to live plants lol, maybe I am missing something.

* wait...I think i got it....you would process DRIED bud in those big metal containers, they could even be in final retail containers, and it would take care of mold without the need for irradiation. Cool. You could have just said that lol. Anyways, I wonder if it would crush the tricombs. Maybe...the bud might not look so perfect after.

Oxidation, H2O2 and now live plants... The OP must have been too short.

...lol, maybe I am missing something.
Or maybe the initial topic (e.g. "why not cannabis??") just transformed into "something" else.

So i'll guess it's never been evaluated successfully (or even simply evaluated...) as we'd have heard of that by now...

...wait... I think i got it. ...you would...
It was only a question, not a quiz, and i wouldn't have spiders-mites nor pathogens to deal with in the 1st place anyway. Too bad my experiment with live CS sprays was cancelled out of a lack of interest many years ago, before moving to some elders house, finally... So i confess that's one more scenario never evaluated, successful or not...

...they could even be in final retail containers, and it would take care of mold without the need for irradiation. Cool.
Indeed, sterilisation by exposure to the ionizing rays of cobalt-60 *WAS* the reason i continued to watch that report on TV. Because such cheating ain't no cool at all and i figured more processing is actually required to remove pathogens/parasites waste and toxins... Which may explain how "Tumble Weed" became a standard, if judging by the few SQdC samples i've obtained so far.

...I wonder if it would crush the tricombs.
Sorry, i didn't know the answers before i heard of such Natur+L XTD solution applied to food; i can't even tell which food will benefit from it nor why. But i do wish there were a more accessible alternative to radio-active handling, that's for sure!

By the way, anyone here with a permit to manipulate cobalt-60? Just curious...

Maybe...the bud might not look so perfect after.
Please don't ask me as i was hoping you guys might know all about it already!

;)

Talking about physical appearance of trichome glands there happens to be a new sample on my desk awaiting for yet another microscope session and i've delayed that exactly because i can predict this is going to feel most depressing, once again. Though it may sound rather moot while i find such words hardly convey the persistent impression it leaves, especially after enjoying the real deal, before 2015 or so...

Oh there's "kief" at the SQdC now selling 15 ~ 20 $ a gram, but quite frankly i sense it's a safe bet to expect that still won't/can't render justice to the plant neither - much less when fully revealed under a microscope!

Good day, have fun!! :peace:
