Cloning is easy . .if you approach it like the rest of your grow so far.. you will do fine.. seems you got a good idea what it takes to do things right.. if you need specifics on how to clone .. ill link ya some threads.. I would just hate for that widow to be your favorite of the bunch .. and you cant grow it again.. and no two widows are the same. If its no good or ends up male.. just kill the clone.. you only loose like 50 cents in supplies :)

Well my poor little girl did me a "favor" and trimmed a few leaves off of the WW for me hahaha lol at least it was on the bottom and it was only like 3, but I really wanted to have a fit when she fell into the plant messing around and not listening to me!! Of course though since she fell kinda into it I made she she was ok before I checked the damage out to the plant!!! Hahaha so it now gives me the much needed motivation to put this damn tent up and keep praying this damn light gets here any day, I did e-mail the seller today also and asked if they had a way to better track the package cause all it told me was it it was shipped out on the 22nd and that has been 2 weeks so????? where is my light basically!!! Tomorrow I have a Dr appot and then I get to go to the grow shop to see about this neem oil for pest control :) Yay!!!! I hate seeing even one bug on my babies!!!!!! Oh ya and the clone stuff too!!

i see u konagirl, its looking good. i friggin h8 waiting on things in the mail. im still waiting for my ph tester from ebay (2 weeks now) and im sure im gonna do away with my cfl grow and go full hps. prob keep it small though about 250-400. im gonna go to the ONLY hydroponics store in my area to see if their prices rival HTG supply, im sure its gonna come down to the pennies but i just hate waiting. HTG has the best bang for your buck that ive seen so far. just wanted to drop in and say good job and goodluck. and im keeping an eye on your garden

Hi KonaGirl,

Your grow looks like a lot of fun!!! I just finished some White Widow and it is delicious. It's all in the cure. Good luck in dealing with your spider mite issue, definitely try and take care of it before you push some plants into flower. Since you have spider mites (judging from what you described), it is important to kill the bugs and their eggs. Neem oil kills the bugs on contact and sterilizes any eggs, so it should work well for you. Be sure to check every day after the application for the return of the bugs. Sometimes 2-3 applications is necessary before eradication is complete.

Looking forward to seeing more of your posts, and I can't wait to get back to Hawaii. Haha... cheers konagirl!

Hey guys, well I went to the grow shop today ready to get neem oil and some big bloom so I would have it when the pest problem was done with (crossed fingers) hahaha!!!! So I got there and started looking at all the cloning stuff hehehe and decided to come back for that after this was all taken care of cause I had to ask some questions and did not really wanna deal with all of it right then ( I am such a procrastionator) So went to grab the FF BB and then the guy came and asked me if I needed help so I told him I needed neem oil, well, long story short.......I somehow walked out with something call organocide...now I already know you are probably already saying NOOOOOOO....so I have not opened the bottle I am returning it tomorrow, I looked it up and #1 it smells like fish #2 it has mainly fish oil and # 3 I went in looking for neem oil!!!!!!!!!! So this guy showed me so many organic pesticides that I guess I forgot that I went in looking for one thing hahaha he said this product was the best.....really???? ewww I don't like the smell of fish at all and I don't like the fact that neem oil is so messy and it does not actually kill everything:( I want them all DEAD!!!! There really isn't a big problem, but I don't want it to become one and also I just noticed tonight my 3 fast bud that are auto flowers have officially started flowering!!! So I am excited, but kind of pressed to get this under controll!!! Has anyone ever heard of Safer® Brand 3-in-1 I know they have that there and there are several other organic ones, I just really want to do the right thing for my little babies lol!!!

Hey Konagirl,

I have used Organicide before, they sell it at Home Depot actually. I was really worried about using it but it turned out great and solved my bug issue. The first time I was hit by spider mites I got some Organicide and used it on them... had them on about 10 plants, sprayed, and they vanished for about a week, then I noticed they came back on only like 1-2 plants (probably some eggs hatched in that time), gave them a second dose, and they never came back. If you use it make sure you spray the under sides of the leaves very well. It is all organic, and although it doesn't smell great, the smell goes away. If you're going to use it, do it soon to minimize spraying of any actual buds/flowers. After the application, keep a close eye out for additional leaf damage, eggs, and the bugs themselves and re-apply as necessary. If you have the concentrate then make sure you mix is properly. Should work just as well as neem oil.

Anyway, not exactly the NOOOOOO response you were afraid of. :) Cheers!

One quick note, Organicide probably doesn't disrupt the reproductive cycle of the mites like the Neem oil does, so if you use the Organicide, you're going to keep applying it until they're all dead because it is kill on contact.

i have done some research on organicide, and it seems it might be a good choice.... its make with sesame oil and fish oils, and it does disrupt the reproductive cycle of the mites. it can be used folier and as a soil drench.

spray the entire room down. all plants (even the soil), all equipment, EVERYTHING you use for growing. pests are the biggest problem with indoor growing. once you have then conquered you will have a much easier life.

Thanks guys for all the responses and SurfdOut I will def check out that page!!!!! I am very lucky that out of 14 plants I really only see like maybe 5 leafs with a few spider mite spots, but 7 are seedlings and I can see them crawling around and don't want them eaten up!!! I am going to vaccum out the whole lanai and I got a fly swatter the other day for the moths lol my lanai is screeened in, but there are a few holes the moths can get in and you know they love the lights, so I have been killing everything I see with the fly swatter hahaha, no one can really see me, but if they could it would look really funny lol!!!!!! So I wanna make sure everybit of everything is clean off of the floor and then gonna spray everything down before I put them all to sleep for the night!!!

I used that Mighty Wash made by NPK industries. It wiped out all of my mites and does not have any pesticides. I usually use floramite, but tried this stuff and it REALLY works! Good luck!

I appreciate everyones help so much, I did take the Organocide back to the shop and picked up some azamax, did tons of research on, that then treated my babies with that last night after I completely cleaned my whole area and smoked a few bowls!!! I mixed almost 1 tablespoon azamax per gallon of water and did a gentle mix between a foiler spray and soil drench hahahaha.....I wanted to take care of the problem, but not hurt my babies lol!!! So I sprayed them all down good and got the soil good and then sprayed around my grow area and then turned out the final light and prayed hahahaha!!! Well I am glad to report everything is looking good!!! Turned on my lights this morning and No damage to plants from the product and no bugs around my area, still going to re-apply again soon, but I am happy!!! I was going to do before and after pics, but I was so tired after cleaning hahaha that it did not happen!!! There will be pictures up tonight though here in a little bit and I promise there will be a sunset included :) I am going to smoke this nice Hawaiian bud while I take some pics~~~Thanks for everyone inuput!
