it keeps it from drying out to fast, im lazy and should have covered it better but oh well will get transplanted anyway in a few weeks
I started using lids with perlite for the same reason and continued using them with coco+perlite, the other benifits I've noticed are not exposing wet substrate to the room and they encourage root growth right across the top of the pot tying the coco+perlite together.

So when you water it, it doesn't dig if you aren't careful.

I'll be interested to hear though, if you don't mind keep us updated.

Afaik perlite is inert so H2o2 should only react with algae and roots, if I was to guess I'd say there's a good chance of it working.

if anything ill just put in a spray bottle and just spray the top

not organics so not worried about killing bennies I prefer totally sterile hempies
