yea I've even considered if you can farm it as a nutrient source, I mean it is something organic?
I have wondered if it brings anything in the way of minerals, I've never looked at its actual composition but afaik its glass of sorts or silicate?

Doh!.. Yes there could be something in that, it must have some nutritional value, if I've understood H2o2 properly that would oxidise it, but only my understanding.
id probably let it co exist and not Nuke it if at the end of the run i can harvest the algae along with said plant then turn it into something..just a stoner thought. always trying to recycle stuff

but as they die?

so good or bad..hmmm

il just leave it and see what happens at transplant, I've been using h202 in feeding I feed from a gallon of h202 and water to flush out and clean the res then the next gallon is phed 6ish with food to replace what was removed, this is my favorite part of the hempy design

Ime with perlite in smart trays nutrient/water does wick its way up a 10ltr pot overnight even without being primed 1st.
