I live in TX, my house is on a lake with lots of Bass and turtles, can I use this water to water my plants, my grow is organic, and first time growing outdoors, I figure if it's good for fish must be good for weed right?

Yo Estee, you need some other food sources for that weeds plant yadda mean? Grab up that bottled Organics yadda mean. plus what is the ph of the lake? ppm? Y'now wat I'm Sayin. It will work with just the lake water but will it be optimal? will the plant have every thing it needs to thrive? probably not... and your weed will probably taste like the swamp your feeding it with Yadda... yadda yadda mean?

Ok, I was going to make a tea with it, and add some other good shit to it with a bubbler, but I'll make sure to test the PH first, thanks

I would make a tea with it. Aquaponic guys are saying the fish won't quite get the job done. I'm sure its better than tap water but definitely check the ph and adjust if you need to.

I really don't understand threads like these... Can I use stream water or can I use Lake water to grow cannabis?...

Honestly people, do you really think these plants have been growing for the last several millenia on RO and tap water??

This seems pretty much like a no Brainer to me. It has more to do with the quality and drainage of the soil you plant them in...

Will dandelions grow in my lawn if I water them with my garden hose?? Do I have to pH the water in my garden hose??

Come on guys... Seriously.

Consider the entertainment value of watching noobs take water from a lake teeming with fish, filter it, put it through an RO filter- and then pour it on plants being grown organically!

BWAHAHAHA! Better than Saturday Night Live!

Can you imagine what John Belushi would have come up with for the weed industry?

"Samurai weed trimmer!" Screams the announcer as he throws a whole plant in the air, swishes his sword around a few times- and then reaches down and pulls up a perfectly manicured Dr. Seuss shrub!

If you don't know the answer that's fine, why belittle people that are asking a legit question and want to learm, if you don't like the thread then why bother to answer it

When we start these threads it's in the hope of getting help from people that are experienced growers, not to be made fun of or belittled by those that think they know more then others, we are trying to learn, if you don't have anything constructive to add to the conversation then don't say anything, and for those of you that gave me good advise thank you, I totally appreciate it

He's got nothing better to do with his time.

At least I invoked the ghost of John Belushi!

Seriously, unless your lake has chemical plants dumping nasty stuff in it, it will be great water to use for your organic gardening.

I Do know the answer... And if you haven't figured out the point of my post well then... Lol. And it's not really even a legit question, that's kinda the point.

Cannabis is a weed of course you can use Lake water.... Or water from a stream... Or water from your tap.

It has more to do with the quality of the soil and the drainage of said soil... Natural sources of water would obviously be the best to use.

I also like to use all organic matter in my tea. A mixture my dogs and my own excrement, along with Naked green machine juices. They're non- GMO! But I get my water from a magical ancient Tibetan spring. Makes for short internodes, as well as a wonderful terpene profile.

Absolutely without a doubt for damn sure, your plants will love it. I used Lake Nipissing water in Northern
Ontario Canada one whole season on a little crop of 5 plants or so. Turned out fine. Just check the pH of it and adjust to the comfort zone, they 5.8 to 6.7 for marijuana differing with the strain you're growing. I checked the Lake Nipissing water last night, because I too live on the lake...the pH was 6.45. And I'm sure all the fish poop and dying stuff in the water doesn't hurt a bit...in fact some folks pay for Fish Shit in a bottle...I know I did. Sorry about the babylon Growbrough...
