UGH okay I'm super irritated now. First I found out I had a bug problem. Little things were everywhere and it was really pissing me off cuz of the leafs were getting all eaten up and it was losing its green and the little keeps coming and coming and more and more. I had to do something about this. I found about "neem oil." I heard its really good everyone keeps talking about. So I went ahead and brought some. I DID everything it says on the bottom. I put the right ammount and the dish washer soap (dawn). So, there I was spaying the HELL out of my plants TOP and BOTTOM. and I had no idea what this shit was. and BOY did it smell like ass! I couldn't stand it I had to close the door. So I sprayed them at night and it stinked like hell! Next morning I wake up to check my plants OMG! plant BURN EVERYWHERE!! I thought the shit the sell at the grow shops would do me justice and leave me with healthy looking plants. Boy was I wrong. All these leaves are shrivled up and NOT looking good. Nonetheless the plant didn't die but its VERY close on looking like its dying. I will have post pictures. I just want to know what is the neem oil doing?? Is this not a safe product? have you guys used it and got any burns? what should I do to prevent this? Looks like i've killed over 50 plants, but its still growing just all the leafs look really bad. Any help with the neem oil would help. Thank You.

Well under my 400 MH there isn't much burn cause I think I didn't spray it that hard, but under my T5 OMG The leafs are pretty much disintegrated. I thought they were ALL dead. If you look closer there actually alive and leafs are up. So, I'm just hoping for the best. Going to use a lot less neem oil next time. Hopefully they won't die, that would totally suck.

I do a full dip in neem oil with ALL clones obtained at the dispensary. 3 dips, 3 days apart before going into my room. I use 1oz/gallon of water of the concentrate and have never had a problem.

i used it and i had burning on the leaves throughout the whole grow, hate the stuff and the smell makes me sick aswell. use a damp cloth and get all the excess off each leaf(or at least the bad ones). ill never use it again but i know a lot of people have great success with it. the stuff seems to effect younger growth the worst which is why you should never use it on plants under three weeks old, the damage stays with the leaf all through the grow, well my burn did anyway.
i think the recommended doses may be a bit strong, the stuff i used was grotek neem oil!
good luck with getting through this sticky patch, i hope all turns out ok and doesnt effect yield too much

I"ve used neem for 22 years and have never had any problems.I use 5ml neem and 5ml sm-90 in a half gallon of warm water.[SM-90 is a wetting agent, smells great]

My solution is the neem oil and a sterile room. As in 1 set of coveralls dedicated SOLELY to the care of my room. Shower before entering, no shoes, air filters, and nothing, NOTHING goes in without being preinspected and sterilized. Yes, ISO on all bottles, scissors, watering utensils, etc.

Okay well I feel like ALL my FUCKING hard work about 5 GOOD MONTHS of work into this ALL DOWN THE DRAIN cuz of this stupid fucking product "NEEM OIL" makes me so made that all this shit happened... like WHAT THE FUCK. I'm reading post above saying every things fine and I take a look into my garden and every things NOT fine. I have like 2 healthy plants left and there HALF healthy because I didn't spray that part. I have no idea what happened but I think I have a clue. I put too much neem oil inside the water and less soap. It looked fine in the bottle, but smelled REALLY bad. I thought that was GOOD. and I thought you were supposed to spray the hell out of the plants. Maybe i'm wrong and your just supposed to mist it and mist it with water after. What I did was just spray the shit out of it top and bottom til it was soaking and let them sit like that at that in the night. Well I woke up to a bunch of DEAD plants. UGH. Next time I won't use as much. What a waste of time doing this. Here I am trying to make things better and this is what I get.

Damn dude... that is really fucked up. I don"t want to throw gas on the fire but I gotta ask, do you think it could have been the Dawn? I've only used Ivory. I don't know if it makes any difference, I'm just curious and I want to figure out how this happend. I know it sounds all Mr. Rogers but if you learn from this than its not a total loss......... having said that, I'd be pissed too!

ur leaves r not burned they are clogged, u either over sprayed them or u sprayed them in direct light, neem is completely safe and works great. if u over spray them or spray in direct light the pores in the leaves will become clogged from the oil. the only thing to fix this is time, u can foliar spray them with distilled water or ph'd water at room temp in the mean time to help aid the process ur plants will be fine if this is the only problem. some pics would help with diagnosis

any biodegradable soap without added scents etc, like the originals of many brands will work just fine with neem i use dawn, palmolive, generic etc it just has to be biodegradeable, unscented, and know scrub beads or anything like that

the neem oil i used had a reccomended dose of 5-10ml per litre!, which considering u guys are only using that too a gallon thats where the problem lyes . why do the manufacturers recommend using such a high dose. it cant be so you use it up quicker. it looks like you should use it at 5ml per gallon not litre. also it neer mentioned anything about using it in warm water. only that you may need to break up the sticky goo by placing it in a cup of warm water to make it more runny.
well i for one have learned something new about neem oil today. dont know if ill try it again though. although now im using bio grow all mix and not cheap shitty soil ive had no need to, fingers crossed!
sorry about how bad your grow turned out yoji, its a very costly lesson to learn. at least it wont happen again and you can just chalk it up to experience.
