leaving dwc for 10 days

The plants were healthy and striving with no signs of deficiency but the PH had drifted to 4.8. I don’t know how many days the plants were experiencing a low PH, but would guess it wasn’t for too long because there were no signs of a low PH.

I Didn’t have my top off reservoir installed at the time so the water level had dropped considerably.

I am looking into a few methods that automatically adjust the PH in my reservoir to optimal levels to ensure this doesn’t happen again. My research has shown a few options to do this. There is a device called PerfectPH that floats in the reservoir and automatically balances PH. It needs to electricity to work. There are also several DIY devices you can make with tutorials on YouTube or some commercial Products made by companies like Nido Pro and Blue Lab. I also think a large top-off reservoir might be enough to ensure an appropriate PH level when leaving plants for a week or two.
