Dude, I was trying to be cool with you. But for real, he doesn't seem to understand the basics, so it might not be the best idea if he did shit himself.

I'm trying to understand what your proposed solution is. Connecting white to black and black to white isn't rocket science by any means. I think the biggest issue here is that english isn't his first language, so there is a loss in translation.

Sorry bro. I'm not gonna propose to you. I'm married.

OK, funny boy, got it -- you have no solution to offer, just silly posts.
In this case I think they should call an electrician. They don't seem to know a lot about electricity.

Better safe than sorry if you don't know what you're doing.

Now I'm done with you. I'm gonna just ignore you now so I don't get in trouble,

So instead of buying a $10 receptacle tester to see if the wiring is indeed reversed, you suggest that he spend over a hundred dollars to have an electrician make a house call. What a waste of money.

@MedicGrow I've got two Fold-8's and I notice today when light goes out, they're still "on". I guess small amount of amperage goes through light, is this a problem?
You can also check the timer with a continuity tester as well to see if their is still continuity when it is in the off position. Try this on a single pole light switch to see how it works but your tester has to be capable of testing continuity. This test is done with out any power being supplied to your timer or the single pole light switch so you can see how it works. I am a 40 year master electrician in the USA.
