Led light stress?

Hey guys,

Has anybody seen this deformity before? The only thing I can think of is light stress, or heat stress. Temp is only 81f though. I appreciate any help.

Yeah thats weird. Could be mutation. If I were you I'd go easy on the lights for a few days and pay close attention.

Yea. I lifted them a couple more inches. I was just wondering if the appearance of the leaves was indicative of something in particular. Thanks for the advice.

No they are very tiny & You won’t see them without a scope unless it’s already too late

Broad or russet . Been fighting them . This can easily be miss dignosed for heat or light stress , and even tobacco mosaic virus . It’s taken out 3 of my plants and they have infected others. I’ve been lucky to be winning the battle now with neem oil , waited 7 days then hit them with a water rubbing alc mix . Waited a couple days then hit them with azamax . It was the azamax that really did them in I believe . After a day or two I noticed new growth coming in nice and not twisted or deformed . Tonight I just treated with Castile soap rubbing alcohol mix . To further the pest treatment. You want to rotate these attacks . Also I stripped tent clean with bleach and then followed with rubbing alc. and I dusted floor and pots , and soil and base of stem with diatomaceous earth. This is what I did. Not saying it’s gonna work . But so far it’s been promising .

I'm not seeing any critters anywhere. It only seems to be affecting tops, right under the lights.

That's shitty. I'm sorry you went thru that. I don't believe it's the problem I'm having though. I looked with a scope and I didn't see anything.

I didn’t see anything at first either. But than I saw the eggs . They are really hard to see even with a scope . And looking at your pictures, your lower leaves have raised edges as well.... how far away is your light ? Lift your light . Report back in a day if it was too low .

Light or stress heat im guessing. I moved the light up and they're straightening out. I'll post a pic when I get home from work. Thanks for your advice though. I never new about russet mites before, only spider mites when I lived in Cali. Now I'm all paranoid about russet mites! Lol :bigjoint:

For sure.... what do you use for pests? I see a few flyers once in a while but it's frigid here in Chicago. I don't believe there's many pests around. I did just bring home some ffhf about 2 months ago. Maybe they hitched a ride? Lol

Well I’m using azamax , neem oil , ( which are sorta the same thing ) rubbing alc . All that shit cause I’m currently under attack . But next time I’ll just treat with neem oil to ward pests off as a preventative. Look for bottles that have the OMRI label . It’s for organic . I don’t wish these fucks on anyone lol ff I hear is notorious for gnats . And it’s true , I use it myself . But I don’t believe it’s as bad as people think . I get one here and there . And that’s rare . I’m on like my 10-12th bag of ocean forest .

Yea I mean... I've seen a couple flyers in the past couple months, but I've seen videos of guys with flyers, flying all over, and crawlers, crawling all over the soil. I suppose those couple flyers could add up though. Lol
