Hi fellow growers, this is really just a place to share my grow and talk about the lovely plants. This is a southern hemisphere grow so things are just cracking off.
Its downright quiet on the nz thread so feel free to post, show me if you've grown these strains before, and yeah... chat some BS :blsmoke:

Strains:
Dosidos #33 by barneys farm
LSD by barneys farm (have grown it before and loved it)
Midnight kush by G13 labs
Girl scout cookies by blimburn seeds

Auto purple punch by fast buds
And later on ill be popping a gorilla glue auto, also by fast buds

Most went in the ground on the 29th of october, except the LSD which somehow i forgot... but thats all good, means i can pamper her for another week before she goes in.

The soil has been well-amended and is quite fertile as is but i will be feeding during veg if needed:

Nitrosol fish and seaweed fert: 6 - 1 - 3
Daves Humic/fulvic acid (seems to increase vigor). A good carbon source and helps with nutrient uptake!
Microbe pro - To stimulate the soil biology

If not needed then i will be feeding just humics and microbes :)

This is primarily an organic grow.

Cheers,

- LT

LSD to the left (yet to go out) and GSC to the right, already in

Grown the LSD in a tent grow and a quick clone outside. Harvested the indoor gal a week early but the clone was small but super frosty. She’s a fun strain, which I think I could of done better. Just did an outdoor Do-Si-Dos from Canuk Seeds and got 1001g wet and about 246g dry. One of my favs, as I’ve grown her 3 times. I tried GSC in my first tent grow but reveg on my hard and was a lose. Might attempt again as I got a shit ton of freebies from Garden of Green from a previous order. Best of luck with your grow

Hey buddy, yeah LSD is a great strain. It's very resilient and vigorous. The best part for me was the extremely dense buds.. Which amazingly was the only plant to not get mould as well. Mould resistant, frosty and strong which is perfect for my region. Looking forward to the dosidos #33 which is also meant to be quite resistant. The GSC and midnight kush were freebies, so quite happy about that. Sounds like you kicked ass with dosidos yeild, how is the smoke?

Here is an LSD I did some years back outside

Hi all heres is an update finally. Everyone is looking happy, the LSD is growing with some serious vigour which I expected but it has really gotten ahead of the rest. It went in a week after the rest of the plants and went through and extra transplant than the rest of the plants - The difference is though, it had a week longer in my care at home with extra light but always looked healthy from the start. I disturbed the roots less when transplanting it too, and I think this had a big impact on the growth in that it never really slowed down like its buddies GSC, do so dos #33, and midnight kush. The purple punch auto is looking well and has begun flowering. It is around ~ day 42 when the pictures were taken.

Staying with the veg liquid feed on the auto for now as I progress into week two of flowering and then I'll switch to the guano and potash.

The normal plants have been fed again but I think I'll take a step back from that now. Looks as if the LSD is greening up nicely and probably getting into some of the pre existed veg nutrients I added to the soil prior, which is generally already very nice soil. The other plants haven't quite gotten there yet but I suspect they will be fine for awhile now, hopefully I haven't over done it on the feeding but I think they'll be ok as they progress into giant bushes. Oh yeah and i topped all of them this week too.

So all in all quite happy so far. They are all bigger already this year than they have been in previous years so im not too worried about the other plants being small than the LSD. They will take off eventually, the soil tempratures have been good and its also been very humid which has caused some nice growth. Now bring on a bit more sun !

All pictures are about two or so weeks after the planting. Would also havr taken some time for them to adjust.

Plants are looking nice man.

I suddenly realized how much I already miss summer.

I have not grown those strains, but never been disappointed by g13.

Good luck man. Be vigilant, I was too lazy and didn't spend time inspecting so aphids and bud worms were infesting my 4 outdoors. The thing is they looked great from 5feet.
I'll be following along.

Cheers!

Hey mate,

Glad you'll be following along, always nice to have input from others. I have seen a few aphids already... They are crazy this year on my pepper and brassica vegtables. It's the humidity which is well above average this year, it just makes the bugs go insane. They should taper off a bit as it heats up though... Hopefully.

And yep, really looking forward to the g13 labs midnight kush. Can't beat summer, it's always exciting seeing the girls get bigger .. They feel like my kids :bigjoint:

Cheers,

Hi all, last weeks update on Saturday was pictures from 5 or so days earlier. Here are some pictures from Tuesday (2 days ago). Everything looks great and some of the growth since I last checked and took the pictures in the previous pictures has been amazing. I believe there are a few reasons why. Firstly the good feeding I gave them last week would have helped! The other factor is the weather. While the sun has been on and off, the spring humidity has been well above average with frequent rain and very warm overnight growth. Also, by now the native mychorizal fungi I added to the root zone during transplanting should be starting to establish. With the moisture and high soil temps/humidity I believe this will have fascilitated this. The soil microbes should also be going off now, and this would have been further enhanced by my feeding with microbe pro and molasses (to feed the soil). At least I like to think so anyway!

In the last feed I gave, Nitrosol, Dave's humate, microbe pro and molasses (to feed the soil microbes) at full doses. This week I decided not to feed them as they are quite green and looking well so gave it a break and I will resume next week. No signs of bug damage either.

The purple punch auto did however get fed with a bat guano and potash mix which should be around 2 - 7 - 9 Something along those lines.

LSD.. Just love the vigour and thick stem. All the plants have at least 2 months or more left of veg... Possible one pounder here?

Dosidos #33. The leaves are massive but it doesn't show up well in the pictures. About 2 times the size of my hand nearly! Also quite unique in shape.

Hi friends, pretty quiet in the outdoor thread. But I'll keep yahs going until your season returns. Checked on them today - All looking great, no big issues or anything. Today they were all fed, veg nutes and supplements etc and flowering notes for the auto respectively. The weather has been warm, a little humid with mild rain but very little sun this past week... Still some good growth though. All plants have recovered nicely from topping too.

LSD - Shes looking sooo good! Nevers lets me down.

Hi all, the pictures shown are from 15 days after the previous pictures. These were taken on the 14th of December. All fed and watered 10 litres of veg food. Weather has been shining and hot but also some rain for one of the two weeks.

LSD - Looks mamoth already. Never dissapoints. Loads of new shoots coming off of the side stems.

Purple punch auto. Gave it a final big feed. Today is ~ day 78 and at the time of these photo and the end of week 5 flowering. Starting to frost up now but fairly airy and sativa type foxtail buds. Some minor rot on the stem I think... Or a bug has gotten into it. Hoping another 3 weeks but it could be a push. The leaves are starting to yellow off already.

Any ideas?

Hi friends. Time for an update. All is ticking along well, the girls are getting big now. Last week they didn't get fed so this week they did get fed. We've had some nice weather but alot of rain and humidity. The plants seem to be enjoying it. I had to top the tops! They were getting too tall. 6 foot already.

lSD - she's a beast! Still another 5 - 6 weeks of veg left too. 6 foot topped

20221230_120601.jpg

At this point it's a tree

Girl scout cookies - Lovely plant. 6 foot topped.

20221230_125125.jpg

Do so dos #33. 6 foot. Probably a tad behind the other two plants but still very nice.
