When the plants are put into flower, you want zero light getting in the tent, or you will have trouble..ie hermies, slow growth, reveg, etc.

You got this ....this forum is full of great growers willing to share info and help out.
Do your part though, as stated and as I'm sure you are doing, RESEARCH EVERYTHING first, then ask.
Some can be brutal lol.
Take everything with a grain of salt, and double check before just jumping into doing what others tell you...arm yourself with as much good knowledge as possible...a lot of bro science still floating around.
Good luck.

Ideally you want a well contained growspace.
Light leaking in or out when not necessary is always going to be a negative. However depending to what extent makes a huge difference. With cheaper grow tents the stitching will not be as tight and the light may be slightly visible through the fascia zips. Cheaper tents are normally good for 3/4 runs.

The best tent I have seen on the market is the Green Qube. ( its on the wish list for sure)

Check out there promo video below.

Those are built quite cheap I wouldn’t mess with them IMO.

You can go with the cloudlabs from ac infinity theyre pretty nice for a tent. Not bad pricing on them either.
Looks decent thanks for the intro . In all honesty a few features of the green Qube sold me. Like the little lift up bar for inflow and the window. Will deffo be considering the cloudlabs for the upgrade coming soon. :hump: @Lordhooha

Love my 5 x 5 Cloudlab but has the absolute worst zippers if you are worried about light leaks. Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have caused any adverse effects.

Plants dark cycle being disrupted by light shining onto the plants can cause them to stress out and hermaphrodite most commonly. This is where the buds will produce little pollen covered cocks that look like little bundles of bananas or a banana sticking out of the bud, those bananas aka nanners will pollenate any female bud pistils and create seedy bud.

Long story short, any light growing indoors shining on the plants when it should be dark is bad.

When the light is leaking out the tent, than the light will be leaking inside as well. It is sudden interruption in dark period taking place regularly which causes issues.
To clarify I think what you meant to say is if you can see light shining out of the tent then light will shine into the tent in the same spots. Patch any areas where light is able to shine in or out of the tent.
