Light mixing???

I've been using 1000 watt hps for a long, long, while now. I'm growing in a 20'×12 ' basement, with 5 fans circulation and 4 1000 hps going full blast, just switched to bud phase 10 days ago, and I am wondering if I added a couple of 450+ watt led full spectrum looking into the spider farm sf4000. Would it be worth the extra 800 I'd be putting out for the new lights.I know more light will help some, but would it b worth it? Thanks in advance!!!

4 1k covers 12 x 12
But if it were me I would buy enough light to replace one HPS
And then use it as side lighting
That way you are one step closer to replacing the HPS

If you don't mind, what size led should I get to replace the 1000 HPS 720 led or 1000 watt led is what I'm thinking . Unfortunately I don't know enough about the LED systems to know what to replace my 1000 hps systems and I do thank you for your time and help!

800 - 850 will give you plenty of light with a reduction in power consumption
So that’s where I would be looking

Getting two 640-720 w seperatable x6 Bar lights would be perfect. That makes x4, Bar-3's to use as side lighting or x2 1000w hps replacements. As side lighting they'll never get past 150w/3 Bar unit w/ exceptional gains if done right.

A good spectrum 480w covers a 4x4 & will replace 1000w SE in results. The 660-720w have a Lil extra oomph for growing farther away & some spectral blending.

My previous answers did not exactly answer the question. Yes, but all you'll need is a 200-240w linear board between each hps. That will work better then a square and you only need 240w max. I like the mixing results.

Thanks for all the help and information I ended up getting two Mars Hydro FC -E 6500s they're only 6 bar and have the bridgelux diodes but I got a hell of a deal thank you again!
