Lights being turned off in middle of 12/12!

Okay so what happens if your plants are on a 12/12 timer and in the middle of the timer being on its light phase, the power goes out say for about an hour or 2? If this just happened one time, would the plants be okay or would they get confused or something? Please let me know. Thank you.

they will be fine. look at it like nature. solar eclipses have happened throughout exsistance and we still have plant life here.

thank you very much. the timer is also plugged into a wall where the the light switch controls the outlet. So sometimes people just walk in and turn the switch off by habit. Then you come home and go fuck!!!!!!!!!

now you are going to want to keep those lights on for the 12 just so you can maximize their/ plants full potiental. see if there is another way to wire them up so that they are not getting turned off by accident.

sucks because that's really the only unoticable place I can put the extension cord and run the cord to the closet

why are people turning the switch off. if it is because of another light being on, just unplug the damn thing.

yeah you definitly wanna do something, one time or two times is one thing... but happening alot of times is bad, irradicate lighting is one that that contributes to plants turning hermaphrodite.

No it's because people go in the room to get something and that's where the light is. If the light is off they turn it on and then turn the switch the right way. Then when they leave, they turn the switch off. This doesn't happen alot, but it has happened about 3 times in the past month and a half. And trust me, there is NO other place to put the plants or timer without being noticable. Sucks for me, but plants always look health. If it does happen I say, "O there was some clouds today!!"

could you tape the switch on so people know not to turn it off? or will take lead to suspicion?

yeah, tape it on. duct tape. lots of it.

1. lock the door and tell them to stay out.
and/or
2. take everything/anything that someone might ever need out of that room.

LOL, yea. I'm always like, "Goodnight my lovely ladies". Haha!! O and to penguin I have actually switched the cord today. I got an adapter that plugs into the light bulb in the closet so it has outlets on each side of it. So all good. Thank you.

I always forget some of the cool gadgets you can find when you wonder through the electronics section.
