My max at one time is 250. 300 or so if I gotta grab 2. Also HPS is more costly by the month on my electric bill thats why I was trying to stick with LED. But I will sacrifice if needed. Best to do it right or not at all
LED might save you $20 a month in electricity, but you won't find a $150 LED that will grow you this...

like the $150 1kW HPS that did for me and could for you... bongsmilie

thanks. What country you in? I'm curious only because you said 150 but the link you sent me was 104
I'm in the states.
The $104 is only for the reflector. The ballast is another $150. Then you need the bulbs too.

If you're really interested in a 1kW, this complete kit would do it for you. Both MH/HPS bulbs, 6" air cooled hood, 1000w ballast, pulleys and a timer...less than $200 for everything but an exhaust fan...

Sorry just saw your yield question...I got 18oz of good smoke from her. Would have been around 24ish if I didn't let humidity get to high and lose some to bud root. Was a Gorilla Glue from ILGM that was in a 4x8 with 7 other plants so not too shabby for a 2x2 sq.ft. area.

Great. So my 1 ac infinity 6" inline should be ok? No need for 2 exhaust fans just oscillating fans inside right?
So long as you can keep the room your tent is in cool enough yes.
My basement is 68F and with a 6" I think my 4x4 ran right around 78-80f. So, a little warm since you want to shoot for 75F with HPS, but nothing the plants can't handle.

Just have good airflow inside.

But for 2kW in a 4x8 it takes me 2- 8" exhausts to keep it cool fyi. They get hot quick.

I ordered some lights that aren't nearly the right amount of lighting for my 4x4x6 tent. Im sending them back. Any recommendations for good lights to cover a 4x4x6 tent? I'm trying to fit 4 plants in there. Also im not rich lol and also im doing LEDs
I just purchased a Spider 2000 and it'z good for a solid 2x4 area so until I can purchase another one I used the LED I already had and so far the plants are happy, happy. Honestly, I think it'd be good for a 4x4 alone with 4 plants, as, long as you LST, keep them under 2' and top. If you do that, the 2000 will be more than sufficient.

Check it out, tis $300 well spent.. https://www.spider-farmer.com/products/sf-2000-led-grow-light

'Tis not. The genuine HLG is only $315 after the "RIU10" code.

No MH bulb so add another $40, but Vivosun and Ipower are interchangeable quality wise.
Same thing minor differences.
Edit...I have both btw.
Both ballasts that is...

Where do you see this in the HLG spec's?
DEAL FOR ALL GROWTH STAGES: Excellent full spectrum- white, blue, red and IR (3000K, 5000K, 660nm and IR 760nm). 3000K diodes providing more reddish light and the 5000K providing more blueish. The 660nm red and IR light is especially useful during bloom, where it speeds up flowering time and boost yields.

This is all they list.......
272pcs Samsung LM301H Diodes, 16pcs 470nm Blue

And it's $299.... Discount code for the Spider Farmer LED, "SFRIU", tis for $8.99 for a total of $291. Not much of a discount but it's something! rolleyes.gif

And you would need 3-4 of them in a 4x4 to even think about getting close to a $200 1kW HPS.

Gonna take a helluva lot of run time to recover that upfront cost.
Sure do hope none of those 2,000+ diodes start going bad before then....

There's not an LED that can compete with HPS, but if used properly great results can be had. Along with that HPS comes variables one has to deal with, one being heat!

I know for sure this would compete in a side by side with a 1KW but who has that kind of cash to fork over for a 4x4 tent,?

Cheap LED will work out more costly to run than a 600w hps unless you don't light your space properly
