Lights or no lights when flushing?

If you grow in soil you need 2 weeks if you grow in hydro you can get away with 2-7 days thought this all should be judged individually by each plants needs even plants that are the same strain do not need the same amount of flush its something you haveto look for yourself when eyeing up the size of the plant with how many bud sites ect. it comes alot down to experience too. Personally being a perpetual DWC grower I can push my flush times to around 3 days. As growers have said some will argue against flushing and they are not wrong you are starving the plant of what she needs but that is the aim. Alot of growers use potent nutes when growing and only a person who has tested flushing cannabis vs unflushed cannabis there is a clear difference in taste burn and stone. so I flush every plant :)

In real world blind testing, people can't tell the difference between flushed and unflushed bud, according to that recent study everyone was talking about. Exact same thing with light beer. Another study showed that people were totally unable to tell which sample was their beloved Coors Light, Bud light, Natty light, whatever. Oh, people will swear up and down the block they THEY can tell the difference, but that's not how it plays out in the real world. Personally, I can see a benefit to reducing nitrogen in the final weeks, but I'd never stop feeding them while they are packing on the most weight.

Each to thier own I suppose I know the Nutrients I use are Highly concentrated in some what of a Raw powedered form I personally can defenatly tell the difference to flushed vs non flushed though I will say after the cure I do agree there is very little difference if any. Thought this could just be a placebo who knows most people have had flushing so smashed into thier head that they will fight to the death to defend it being a perpetual grower sometimes a flush just isnt possible espeically using DWC methods of cultivation plants mature so quickly it can throw my times off and does all the time. Im not saying its law cause we all grow differently just my personal preferance.

Me personally, i add 6k watts of light and 2lbs of carolina reaper chillies, chopped and diced to the rez, seeds and all, then i scream death metal at them for 48 hours straight, have my missus squirt all over them, then sprinkle them with fairy dust prior to getting a damascus forged spoon and hacking them down. Then, only then do you throw them onto the drive and repeatedly apply a full naked choke to each and every cola to get the frostiest fire you can ever imagine. seal and burp for 12 years and you now have the fire !
