Lost half my yeald 5 weeks into flowering.

Hey guy

It's my first grow that I've made it this far on and I'm still making stupid mistakes.

5 weeks into flowering I lost half my plant, 3 branches with decent bud growing on them

My branches reached towards a strong side light that I added to try and increase yeald, and this caused the branches to collapse under the weight of the buds.

I saved most of them with wire and set the new light up higher above the plant, but it fell on the plant and I lost more branches. Intried to tape but those branches died anyway.

I still got about half the plant left with some nice looking buds, but i lost a lot.

2 questions:

1. Will what I have left likely grow even bigger now that I have less plant, or is there not enough time to recover? ( not an auto)

2. What's smoking premature bud like? Will it be worth a smoke when it dries out?

Not the best images with that cupboard, but can't take it out as it's wired up

really considering buying more light. Even before the mishap those girls look pretty lanky. Marshydro is a great and relatively cheap option
Yeah the side lights has been turned off after the mayhem it caused new light on the way in the post to save the day.

Leaves were flopping I think because the strongest was light so low, schoolboy error.

All learning a curve i guess.

Thanks for the advice!

OK mate, I'm going to be blunt but it's for your own sake.

Thank yourself lucky you didn't burn your house down letting lights fall off.

Remove that carpet, it's a home for bugs and mould.

You need to think about what your doing and do some risk assessment.
Or you will do far worse than lose some branches on a plant.
