Low and slow?

How long can I expect to dry for at 60f/55rh? Im switching because I’ve been drying to fast in years past. I would crank humidity to 40-45 and temps to 65. It would dry in around 7 days. I chop whole plant and hang them. Some strains would come out better than others but pthers I could tell. Smoke would be harsher and burn darker. Switching things up and just need to know if I’m on the right path.

You should be able to dry them for at least 10 days at those numbers, probably a few more-just keep an eye on them towards the end and jar test. I also like hanging whole plants. You are on the right path!

You're on the right track, It normally takes 14/16 days at 15/16cf 60% before i put it all into a air tight bucket to finish It.
60f 60% is considered ideal afaik so I try to keep things as close to that as possible.

Usually strains take different dry times based on density
Whole plant is the way to go and drying to long becomes almost a nonissue
Sounds good so far

Harvested 4 plants - being drying now for 21 days( 60/50) and still another 5 days (approx) to go, I use paper bags with 2-3 oz per bag wet change the bags every 5-6 days , after 14 days pour the buds into a box with newspaper on top , to cure- 4 weeks minimum in oven bags - if still to damp after 2 days in the oven bag put the buds back into a paper bag for 24 hours presto primo buds - note- I trim wet, and break buds down to ping pong ball size , works for me everyone is very happy

A big determining factor is branch thickness; sometimes you'll get fatty colas but a wee bitty little main branch, other times you might have monster branches with "just ok" sized buds. I personally find the skinny branched stuff dries a bit faster even if the buds are a bit bigger, just my opinion. Oh and this is for any temp/RH, just speaking generally

Thanks everyone for the tips. This morning things were still moist so i thought i was on the the right track. I did notice the smell of the room that contains my dry room doesn’t smell as dank as when i chopped. Concerned a little bit but im chalking it to chlorophyll breaking down since temps/rh have been consistent since they were chopped. I also go nose blind a lot and once I left I did reek of weed from just being in the dry room.
