low temperature consequences

Dear Gentlefolks,
Winter is coming...
My 2 2'x2' LED growrooms are located in a unheated garden shed. and the temperatures are DROOOOOOPING.... I have insulated everything as much as possible. Yet, mister Fahrenheit is doing a limbo. :clap:How low how low how low can you go :clap:.
Right now temperature are flirting with the lowest end of the 60°F.
I was wondering what that would induce. how does it influence MJ's growth? increased flowering/vegging time?
I am on Recycled Organic Living Soil with no chem ferts whatsoever and no animal byproduct neither. Besides worm poop that is.

Sixties are fine. Outdoor plants have plenty of nights down into the low sixties and even the fifties and even the upper fourties later in the season in a lot of places.

I'd say that anything lower than the low sixties in the night cycle would definitely slow growth effecting your final yield but if you can keep it there you should be fine. You'll definitely want to watch for the humidity to rise when the temp drops though.

They will probably turn some cool colors at least :D I did a second planting once in a greenhouse in october, everything stunted pretty bad...but the sour diesel turned really dark purple and was way tastier than the first one, cold temps don't evap the terps off the plants as bad so at least there is some positive!

Am I interpreting your posts correctly if I say
-the plant won't get hurt by my lower temperature (just reached 59°F last night... and still dropping)
-the yield will be reduced for the flowering ones.
-leaf colors will be spectacular.
-Terpen evaporation will be reduced (but so will their production I would assume)
-And the vegging ones will grow more slowly but should flower correctly.

Yeah, but temps any lower will just about stop vegging growth and seriously hurt your yields.
