Lst/scrogg advice

Haven’t really done much true lst/scrogging so this being my first attempt im wondering if the middle needs a defol or if to strip some leaves. I have topped once, tied down and stripped lower shoots. Hoping to flower within the next week or two, just waiting on some more vertical growth and root growth. Hows it looking to those that have done this more than me?

Scrogging alone is lst. Are you planning on hanging a screen

Yes i will be putting a net up within the next week, tying down to net then flipping to flower. I see after 1st week of flower it’s advised to do a lollipop and leaf defol. Does that sound about right

Usually you fill the net by tucking the tops till it is 2/3 or so full in veg, and continue that for a couple weeks of flower. Then let all those tops grow.
No need to do any leaf stripping anywhere other than below the canopy/net.
Okay mate then i will either go with the already done LST training and just use the net for support or I’ll veg slightly longer and do some tucking. I have 9 in a 9x5” with 1020w of led so I’ll need to fill the space still

Lollipopping after the first week of flower? No, not that soon. Recommend that you wait until the stretch is done so you can see the LARF and sucker branches that didn't make it as part of the canopy. Lollipop somewhere between Day 28 to Day 35.

Yeah lollipop week3/4 of flower, definitely..plants looking great btw, I'd chuck the net in as soon as you can and get it started
Ah ok I’ll leave it till week 3ish then, they seem to be doing really well atm 1.3 EC. I will get the net up soon and hopefully get them trained into it, hoping i can get a nice canopy come flower

Also does it look like any signs of a mg deficiency? Im using tap water with 0.4 ec so not adding supplemental calmag but someone mentioned to me the other day that purple leaf stems could be a mg def

Nah, prob just genetics from checking that out i say..the two lowest plants in photo tho..left one looking abit droopy from too much water/lack on oxygen in roots...and right side looking abit on the light green side, like it's wanting abit more of a dose of nitrogen which i always increase as they get bigger ..specially during the first 2 weeks of stretch before switching up nutes....

So since Monday the plants have grown a really good amount and im thinking of flipping to 12/12 this sunday! With regards to nutrients, i have the buckets full at the moment with veg feed which will probably last me another week so should I just add flower nutes after this batch of veg food runs out? Cheers

I usually continue to run veg nutes for the first couple weeks of flower and flip over once the initial stretch is done
