mag deficiency?

So I got some critical kush growing. They are almost 6 weeks from seed still in veg. Using FFOF with dr. Earth 4-4-4. I just topdressed a couple days ago. I started to notice slight yellowing 3 days ago. I've been foliar feeding them 2x weekly with 1/4 tsp Epsom and 1/2 tsp Protekt. They are under a 630w geekbeast @ 32in 70%power. I've never grown with led before and I'm thinking the light might be causing mag deficiency. Any thoughts?

I forgot to mention, I have organic cal mag and Neptune's harvest seaweed and fish fertilizer too. I have used any of either yet. Think one of them would be better then the Epsom?

Okay, I thought so. First time running into a cal mag problem. And it's been over 10 years since I've grown anything so I'm re learning. I hit em with the foliar I mentioned above yesterday. Should I water with the cal mag or Neptune's harvest next watering too? Won't be for another 2-3 days.

If you feel like Mg is the problem or Ca then yes , i would run some in the soil. You cant really go wrong with runfros advice. 1/4 teaspoon wouldnt hurt them if there is already plenty in the soil but it will help a LOT if there is none in the soil....

Okay I'm gonna water em with some Epsom and see it that helps. Thanks for the help guys! I'll post an update in a few days with hopefully good news! What should I look out for as signs of improvement?

use both i mix my epsom 9 tblspoon per gallon then add 40 ml of that solution to my other nutes in my opinion better to give a little much than too little

epsom is solid for a nute, id still add it but use less if you use other nutes with same minerals. if you decide to go cal-mag only then the next set of pics you upload will be sulfur deficient plants since epsom salt is magnesium sulfate.

it seems everybody overlooks the secondary nutrients.
i got the micronutes with cal added so all i really use is my primary NPK then epsom and other various solutions just for the peace of mind they got every trace mineral.

The only nutes I'm using is dr. Earth 4-4-4. Along with a foliar of Epsom and protekt 2x weekly. Should i use the Neptune's harvest along with some Epsom to have a more rounded solution?

Dr earth , nor neptunes harvest have numbers to go by. Dr earth claims NPK and nothing else. If thats really true then calcium would be your first go to, followed by micros. all of them.
According to newer studies , we need as much Ca as we do NPK.
NPK=main food
Ca, mag and sulfer , i believe are "secondary" (need a lot of them)
Then your regular micros, boron, maganese, iron, chlorine, ect...

I would use the calmag you have on hand.

Okay that makes alot of sense. I can see ca definitely being more important then I originally thought. What do you suggest for an organic Micro solution?

I wouldnt worry about the micros being organic or already chelated. Any ol bottle of micros will work. just make sure you have enough Ca in your mix to keep them healthy. (organic cal mag and regular ol bottle of micros)

Okay I'll have to pick up a bottle. Any in particular you would suggest? I'm honestly surprised that the 2x foliar wasn't enough. Lesson learned, next run I'll be adding some Dolomite lime to the mix. So I ended up mixing the cal mag 1/4 tsp per gallon and 1/2 tbsp Neptune's harvest just to be safe. Hopefully I won't lock anything up. Since I'm growing all organic I don't think I'd have a problem but fingers crossed.

Azomite is a great organic amendment and has a lot of micros....

https://www.kelp4less.com/shop/micro-nutrient-pack/ looks to have everything but calcium...

Your organic calmag should be fine for calcium ....it will take a few days to release though.
With those low numbers you are not going to lock anything up.

With the azomite, is that to be mixed into the soil or water diluted? I figure it's gonna get worse before it gets better. How long does it usually take to bounce back? Just so I know if it's still getting worse after x amount of time I can give em another dose. thank you for all ur help getogrow!

i dont know anything about fertilizer brands. the brand i got now is green planet and some out in my shed that i got off friend last summer (no idea brand) but its professional grade large litre bottle size.

look at the ingredients, everyone knows NPK for primary but you also need secondary and micro. just use nutes that cover all the element/ minerals.
dont use nutes that have NPK plus iron 1% with another that also had added iron.

in my case i got micronutes green planet with 5-0-1 NPK and calcium at 6% (calcium nitrate). good to veg with but when i go to flower i need to use high P but no N. some budding solutions got some nitrogen just so its a sort of all-in-one.
also with my micronutes where it has calcium i dont give them much from other sources. just enough for reassurance.
