Mainlined (5 tops) Cannatonic Clone

Yea mainlining is def easier from seed. No doubt because all of the nodes produce two very even tops. Clones have some weaker ones than others. This only has 5 tops because it had 8 but 3 were slower than the others so I removed them. One is still a little smaller but not to bad.

And thanks. I kept that plant right in front of an oscillating fan.

I sometimes use wires to support thale trunk until roots set in, but then losses them and take them off so the plant sways a bit which makes the roots anchor stronger and the trunks thicker.

Also stripping the nodes seems like it might have helped the stems grow thicker because you can tell they are much thicker on the bottom where there is no growth.

I wanna try mainlining. I pretty much did it with one of my plants this grow I just didn't tie it down.
but man I keep a fan on mine day and night mine are maybe half the width of yours
but then again I'm still pretty green to all of this.
nice lookin plants though look heavy sativa.

Hey. Yea I def recommend an oscillating fan to help with stem thickness!

And a super sativa pheno sounds awesome. The mother I got the clone off of looks a lot more indica tho which is weird. They weren't grown next to each other and the month we is a bonsai that needs feeding and hasn't been in direct light, but still, the leaves are so different looking. Gonna try to make fem seeds from this one since it looks awesome IMO! Only the one (this clone) under LEDs looks so sativa-like. Very interesting.

I haven't grown cannatomic before. Curious to see how the high cbd works tho. Have two more fem beans from this packet tho.

Is this Cannatonic you're growing confirmed high CBD? The reason why I ask, only 25% of Cannatonic phenos that come out are considered "high-CBD", which is a standard to refer to any strain with 4% or more CBD in it.

The high THC version of this strain is usually found in the "super-sativa" pheno...

I found this one to be a real hybrid though, and in my experience, none of the phenos the strain spit out really leaned hard Indica side at all.

Hey. No it's not. It's from a fem seed. So it can be any of the phenos. If it's high thc that's not a bad thing tho. Just means I have to sow another seed lol

Do you know how much thc:cbd is in this pheno?

Super sativa sounds pretty cool if that's what this one is.

I can't state exactly how much % cannabinoids are in yours...many factors decide that. And I can't even fully determine which pheno is it without seeing/smelling it.

The Cannatonic strain spits phenos that roughly fall into 3 main categories, a high THC/next to no CBD, one that is roughly 1:1 THC:CBD, and one that is roughly 2:1 CBD:THC, although there have been many variations that don't fall exactly into any of the main categories, from what I've seen, and what I've read others' experiences with the strain.

I found the high-THC "super-sativa" pheno very nice...not overly racey, quite uplifting and creative-inducing. I remember characterizing its energizing effect, similar to having a couple of espressos back-to-back. Tests have shown it to be upwards of 20% THC in ideal growing conditions.

But I never kept it past a couple of runs, as I was specifically looking for CBD-rich phenos, at the time.

I have since moved on from Cannatonic altogether, as I've enjoyed the offerings presented by Mr. Nice/CBD Crew, specifically, the limited edition Z7 strain. It spits more interesting phenos, has more tastes/smells and terpenes that I prefer. It also leans more to the Indica side of things, and is an 8 week finisher.

Cannatonic was a nice strain, though, in all its iterations.

That looks like the "super sativa" pheno of the strain. Have you grown Cannatonic before? Good looking plant, m8.
mk ultra x g13 haze
mk ultra x diesel if ya after a thc loaded plant with good med benefits all though cannatonic is the bees knees for meds.

Not really a plant ya wanna grow for getting stoned,1/1 ratio cbd to thc,

If it was any other plant than evil cannabis cannatonic would go down in history has one of the most helpful plants for medical value.

rick simson oil made from this plant is the best meds i have ever tried but we really struggle to get it in reg form here in the uk,so it means breeding the two, pitty really because it cost me a fortune to get the plants tested, that i do well the oil

Thanks man!!! Means a lot! I haven't had her tested or even flowered any clones of her yet, but I just took one off of this plant so I can put this girl into flower without worrying. Even though I do have the bonsai cannatonic which is the mother of this one but it looks crappy cuz it needs new soil and feeding. and also, a small new bonsai I was creating of it as well that are all from the same plant, except this one is the only one that looks so sativa.

As for this particular plant, it does smell the same as the mother even tho the leavees look different which is interesting but cool. It also produces leaves that make ur fingers a little sticky if you rub a few blades. Other photos i have dont do that at all.

It smells like a classic "oh someone is smoking weed" smell, but fresher and cleaner. Not at all like Afghan Kush Ryder which was very kushy smelling. This was like the opposite side of the cannabis smell spectrum. It's very pleasant.

Its where its at if ya after a medical strain, tried it in oil its knock out, makes nice sift too
Awesome! I'm after something with high medicinal potential with cannatonic, but even if this one turns out to be high in thc then it'll be an awesome sativa lol Seems like a great strain overall. Very hardy too. You can see the stem got a bit mangled on the bottom because it thickened so quickly I hadn't even checked the wire supports.

So wait, what exactly are you saying my plant is? and what it should be crossed with (which pheno of that plant as well)? I want to stabilize this one with a few generations so almost all for the babies will be this pheno. and do the same for any other phenos I get with the remaining two fem cannatonic seeds. hopefully one is the high cbd low thc strain.
