Major Foxtailing over entire plant. Is it ready to chop?

I have 3 plants that have been growing great.
They have been the exact same distance from the light since after the stretch. Now is week 9 of flowering and they all 3 started foxtailing all over. Not just on the buds right under the light but also the very bottom buds. Quite evenly i would say. All the hairs have turned brown in the last week, exceot for the new foxtailing growth. All trichromes are cloudy is it ready to chop or just let it keep foxtailing.
(This more than likley isnt an environmental thing. Nothing has changed since the first day of grow)
Any ideas helpful.

What is the temp in your environment? Usually heat stress could trigger this late in flower. What about nutrients?

personally I like foxtails

It is a constant 73deg F and 46% humidity(give or take a degree) also this was all bagseed so i have 3 different strainsin there. But the 3 foxtailing are the same strain

In my opinion foxtailing is not bad at all. I've just harvested some monsters and 2 of the had foxtails but still covered in trichs and massive.

What is there not to like about them?

for commercial growers the loss of bagappeal is a loss of money
Ah ok and never thought of that.

Guess it never entered my head because I grow for myself only and if anyone does smoke my weed never have they complained about foxtailing.

Feel a bit dumb for decades of growing and never knew what was wrong with foxtailing. Oh well, still, nothing wrong with foxtailing in my opinion despite knowing its all about bag appeal.

My foxtailing smokes just as good as all my other stuff so I don't give a fuck.

Ive read from a very few people claiming that it destroys your thc content and makes it junk. But like the majority ive read from either think they are cool ,fun, or just ok. No noticeable difference(other than difficult trimming)
In this instance i am wondering if the plant is telling me she is ready. It is week 9 of flowering. I d ont know the strain, but i think mainly sativa dominant. I defoled her so i dont have any yellowing leaves to go by. And all the trichs are cloudy. This is my first grow so im trying to get it as correct as possible

Dont feel dumb for not knowing its "bad" if it was bad in a way that mattered you would have caught it right away i bet. If it still does its job correctly then it who says it has to be called a bad thing. Im gonna burn me some foxtails.:eyesmoke:

Just goes to show how shallow and small minded the non growers can be. They must know fuck all.

Jeez, if they smoke some of my foxtails they will soon change there mind.

Give me foxtails all week and I'm very happy.

Right, need a smoke, foxtail time!

Im pretty sure its not environmental because its not just the top buds. Its all they way down to lowest popcorn bud in the shade. The same on all 3 of the same plants.

That plant looks dank as fuck. I wouldn't spend one second stressing over the bud structure, especially if all three from the same seed stock are doing it.

SORRY for at the SAME NOOB questions. Im just wondering how long till finish. They keep putting out new calxs with white hair. 90% of the hairs have turned brown except the new stacked ones.Do i just let it keep on foxtailing or is there any other sighns to look for.

I'd just let it go until it stops putting out new pistils and they start turning in, then start looking at the trichomes. Most people say to harvest when the trich heads are all cloudy/milky. I wait til they're all full and cloudy with a few ambers, but I don't even start looking until at least 80% of the buds are done spitting out new pistils. It's all personal preference anyway. I just like to ripen them up as much as possible without overdoing, just like any other produce.

I know this is my first grow and all but ive really gotten pulled into every aspect of growing. And the comments saying how nice they look and all the encouragement. All the comments. It really helps alot. Keeps me wanting to do it better. Im really fond of my girls and i am amazed at the smell of these 3 whatever they are. SOOOOOO much like a juicy fruit gum mixed with a sweet ganja smell. Im a nervous wreck having to keep waiting.
