Making fem seeds again. S1s & F1s. Come on in.

So what I have here is a fem auto “CBD AUTO 20:1” from Fastbuds Seeds.




I will be reversing this female with TMIST to create pollen which I will dust:

1. Itself for S1 fem seeds.
2. An auto fem “SOLOMATIC CBD” for F1 fem seeds. Will start this in 3 weeks.
3. An auto fem “GORILLA GLUE” for F1 fem seeds. Will start this in 3 weeks.

1. Seed placed straight into a 3 gallon bag with Happy Frog soil on the top half and some cheat potting soil in the bottom half on 3/22.
2. Watering with ph’d water for now.
3. Seed popped soil on 3/26 which I call day one.
4. Light is a MarsHydro In a tent 24/0.

same ol same ol ….running ethos / dutch passion and a few different breeders this time around. Haven’t slung any new crosses lately but still playing with KKP ( durban poison x gg4 ) S1 seeds i made awhile back.

So are you looking to bump up the medicinal side of those crosses ?

If you're going to be doing reversals you might look into just getting some silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate if you can get it shipped where you're at. $50-60 and you'll have enough to mix up enough solution for dozens of reversals.

I know. I’ve done this before and have also made my own. Just to keep it easy on me, I spent the $20.

So did you finally give the BKR a rest for now ?

Exactly. I’m not going past S1 and F1s though. Just for seeds.

I think I’m going to swap the Gorilla Glue out for AvsT.xxl

I really like my AvsT.xxl. It’s Alien vs Triangle x bkrf4. It releases whatever is on your mind. BECAUSE YOU FORGET WHAT THE HELL YOU WERE GOING TO SAY. It’s giggly and good for sleep/pain. It’s a 9.5 weeker from seed to harvest. Solid 4 ozs. I’d love to add some cbd into the mix. My neck, back, elbows, knees, and feet need a heavy hitting salve.

I don’t run a ton of them anymore. I do pop 1-2 ever run. They just take so long @ ~11 weeks from seed.

That is long??? Shit, I was happy when Daz' Galaxy Brain was ready after 112 days being mostly Sativa and bread using Ace Zamaldica.

Quick update. Started nutes. 15 days above soil today. I hit her with week 3 nutes this morning. Everything looks good so far. I alternate feed/water/feed/water every other day. I’ll start misting a branch within the next 2 weeks with TMist.

Started misting 20:1 yesterday. I picked a nice lower branch and will spray the stem twice a day until the bottle runs out. Roughly 15 days. I marked it with a red zippy.

Day 7 of misting twice a day. I started bloom nutes yesterday.

Here is the SOLOMATIC i was going to dust. If it doesn’t clean it’s act up, I’ll only be making 20:1 fem S1seeds.

i hate multiple mistings everyday for 2 weeks thats what turned me away from cs. sts is a real miracle

I am curious to see how the Tmist works for you. I used it the first time I dabbled with breeding autos, it made male flowers but none produced a lot of pollen. So it was a sort of mild success, but not what I was hoping for. Could be the strain, could be 'operator error', who knows, I only tried it that one time.

That RV setup (from the other thread...) is great, already has roof vents and water/electric hookups... nice. Obviously, it's good to have separate grow spaces when you're breeding.

Next time if you want to try STS with a simple set up, Twenty/20 makes a kit and for single branches you can make smaller batches so you get several uses from it. When I hit that bookmark to make sure it was still there, I noticed the price has gone up a bunch since I last saw it, demand just keeps going up for all things grow related.

Update. 4/25/22

On day 14 of misting. Everything looks good. I still have 3-4 days left of TMist which I will keep spraying. There is some shriveling of white hairs down low on the stem. Here is the whole stem.

Sorry there is not much to look at. Here are some Black Beauty squash popping soil today.

I’ve used CS to make sacks on a god bud clone, I was doing it all for the first time, so I didn’t expect much. I was able to get a little pollen from a few of the sacks. I put them in the corner of a ziplock & plucked the daylights out of them to get the pollen to fall into the pocket.
Of course the wife cleans out the freezer & tossed it. Never got the chance to see if it was viable. I am going to give it another go tho with the cs. It’s only 30ppm so I’m surprised it even triggered a reversal.

I wanted to ask you.. Based off your knowledge in this field, would you believe that 30ppm is enough to make viable pollen?
I’ll be subbed for the project, as I’ll be starting up very soon.

I'm going to do a seed run this winter... Not sure it they will be fems or regs... But I just gotta give it a try. I have a tent full of autos now that are in flower. After I give them the chop, I'm taking 2-3 months off... I'll start another grow in October or November.
