ok so i have had and seems that i again have them on my outside plants, problem is that i use my outside girls as mothers and when i clone them i end up with mites on the plants in my tent.. i have used azamax ,liquid ladybug and other types of bug killer/repellant ... I know that malathon will kill the hell out of most any insect around..
IS malathon to string for marijuana????? can i do a light spray on my mothers without killing them???

Malathon will probably work, but that stuff is nasty. It will kill the mites same as the other stuff, but still probably won't fuck with the eggs, so kinda like using a nuke to win a gun fight. I would rotate the other stuff, like Azamax, liquid lady bug, pyrethrums, and mighty wash is awesome if you want to pony the dough for it. Treating cuttings is the easiest because you can dip them in any of the before mentioned treatments, and you know you got full coverage without wasting much product.. Just keep em quarantined, and dip em every few days for a couple weeks in something that kills mites. The key is to alternate treatments, because mites are crafty fuckers and some will have tolerance to different things. I would control the population as well as possible on your outdoor plants, but honestly, there is only so much you do. Mites are everywhere, and people with trees and other plants near your crib aren't treating their shit for mites, so they will always be back. I honestly recommend keeping a mother inside if possible, so you can keep a super clean mite free area. That being said, mites will probably still find their way in eventually. I don't really do general maintenance on bug treatment, but after knocking them out, I find mites again every 8-12 months again on my indoor ladies.
