Sanders emphasized the importance of creating a fair and equal opportunity industry amidst his support for cannabis reform

The U.S. presidential candidate and vocal advocate for legalizing marijuana said he would take care of it himself with an executive order if he wins the White House.

“When I ran for president for the Democratic nomination in 2016, I talked about a broken criminal justice system, which ends up having in the United States more people in jail than any other country,” Sanders told Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. “And what I called for then, and I call for now, is the legalization of marijuana in America.”

Go Sanders!

 First I would like to point out the propagation of Propaganda from the Republican GOP. It has gone on before and since this unconstitutional law was adopted in the early 1900's making cannabis illegal. I found an article written posted from I know not where but I'm sure it was true. Nixon was presented a study done stating cannabis indeed had medical value. He trashed it claiming without verified proof that it was a social threat to the Society. Then every single GOP politician seems to sing the same lie since except maybe Trump who seems to hang in the middle with States Rights. This is the article:
Marijuana facts:
Because of this prohibition, promising medical studies were put on hold. A 1974 study done at the University of Virginia discovered that cannabinoids (in cannabis) cause tumors to shrink and cancer cells to die (while leaving healthy cells alone). The study was not followed up on. In fact, the Ford, Regan and Bush Administrations stopped all research on cannabis, expect for research meant to prove harm.

How many precious years have we lost? Neglecting the fact that cannabis does have medical value has deprived us of so many drugs that could alleviate so many diseases including Cancer is Ludacris.
Bernie Sanders is the only candidate to date who seems to see the importance of changing the law directly. Bernie's plan promotes research but wants to go further correcting social injustice this law has promoted. God bless Bernie :hump:

I know the statistics of Economics explained in a sociological course at the University I attended stated reading graphs and mathematical formulations is matter of how they are interpreted given the accuracy of the information gathered.
I know things do get involved. Bernie has a lot years to his success. I know from my own experience that experience itself gives the greatest knowledge.
I could go on about the political parties, trade unions and the Right to Work Law but it's just not possible for me to write about.:D

Yea..after 100 days in office or 120.... he said he’d legalize it

I’m voting for Bernie only because he wants legalization

Tulsi Gabbard I think wants to end the entire war on drugs..not sure her of her exact agenda....don’t think she’s gonna get as far as Bernie

I don’t think bern will win but I’m voting for him....unless Wisconsin gets medical or recreational going
Don't held your breath. The good people of FL voted in good faith for medicinal after second time it was placed on ballot back in 2018. A citizen must pay $375 just to get a card. That's only after two doctors give diagnosis and third reviews it for card. Then still no bud unless the other medications don't work. Republican tyranny forces us to still live in pain. Bernie is our only hope.

That’s what I think....America doesn’t want socialism so they vote for trump
Can you say that you don't notice the beaches we enjoyed as children have disappeared? Did you know it takes years off your life from breathing polluted air in any major city? Can you say your health insurance plan can give you all the care you need? Don't you see the homeless on the streets? This is America and Trump is flushing it down the drain to line his own pockets. Face it Bernie is our only hope.:wall:
