Marking Cream/Salve with moldy bud?

So I messed up a cure a bit. Thank god it was only a few mason jars. Still have over a pound from the harvest that is good smokeable bud. Now with my moldy shit that didn’t cure properly I was gonna has it to make a topical cream for pain. Is it okay to use it for that? Was gonna use some non moldy bud too. But figured I could use the moldy stuff instead of throwing it away. I know never to smoke moldy bud for obvious reasons. But what about for using it in a cream?

Well, the first issue is the drying process. Mold won't happen if they're properly dried before hitting the jar. That said, the one time I had moldy buds, I iso'd the whole batch and it turned out ok. Good luck!

Yeah I may have rushed the drying on these few jars before jarring.

Honestly, I think you should toss all moldy bud. Don't rub funky spores all over your body!

I was contemplating that as well. Wasn’t sure what would be in my best interest. Even buds with PM eh

Buds with PM can be 'washed'. Mold and rot should be discarded, completely.
