Mars hydro FC-6500 in 5x5 tent

I used more durable tents before, but for the value this tent more Han exceed my expectations. Good accessibility, great vent options. I also like that the viewing Velcro opening is mesh instead of plastic.

had no problem putting together by myself in a smaller basement room, seems sturdy. The real test ofvalue tents is how look go before the zipper sticks. I’ll keep this journal updated

Well the light honestly impressed me right out of the box. The instructions did not include my model here , but luckily (unlike other brand lights I’ve used) beyond easy to assemble, and hang. Just unfold the bars, set the driver down and clamp on. Ez pz. Driver comes with long cord for option to mount outside of tent. I’m going to want the heat for winter so I opted for driver on light.

i also opted for four light hangers at each corner instead of the wire hangers included because it robbed me of almost 18 inches. I need that space! Going for 9 plants in this little tent.

now that light is hung I need to work on environmental controls. Stay tuned! Also can’t decide what strains to grow In here. Either gelatoxbubba kush, a querkle cross which is amazing purps, or a girl time cross which I have not tried yet… decisions decisions

Here she is set up and working on dialing in environment before plants come in.

I think I’m gunna stick with 9 7 gallon pots.
Trellis hung. Had a stroke of inspiration on the trellis hanging method here. Easy to slide up and down as needed. Single 12 aug wire did the trick.

What a insane time to be alive first of all. It’s really the small things that matter folks.
Also personal mantra to keep at it. “The greater the battle, the sweeter the victory”. Don’t know who said it but keep at it.

anyway. Now to the good stuff.
Decided on shipwreck for first run, two untested phenos. So the dice are being rolled on this one. I have a handful of seeds. Ok looking to get four female vortex crosses for next round. For now. 8 lovely ladies being shoved into the 5x5



and the pots are prepped and ready. Just pre watered soil topped with ewc 1 liter h20 (city water) unfiltered ugh I know but hey we shall see.
Transplant can in a day or two into final pots. Stay tuned. Get ready for explosive growth!

Progress. Let’s count this as day one veg.
Plants are clones straight into cups of promix.

I’m going to make a really simple cloning post in next few days. Stay tuned.
For now. Transplant from clone to final 7 gallon pot. Net lowered for quick training and short veg time.

Top dressed fruit snd flower and malted barley powder.
