This is for contest entry. I hope that I am doing this right and staying within rules of contest and rules of Forum.

Unfortunately, I dont have a Mars Hydro but Im trying to do the best I can with what I have. Getting started growing again has given me new life and much enjoyment not to mention new friends made here! I had to start from the ground up with a limited budget. Man all the little things add up and the budget is gone before you know it! At least I have seeds to last for years!! So stay tuned for journal after journal!

Photos of current grow. Its not going bad but with a good setup like the one in the Contest/Promotion, it would be Amazing! And I would love to share it with each and every one of you.

I have gone from this 20210328_203245.jpg

To now this...

Changed the bulbs to HPS and flipped them to 12/12 excuse the yellow tint. Lights are angled to provide straight downward light then across the other rows. The opposite light is mirrored to do the same creating a crisscross pattern. (2) 600watt HPS killing my electric bill. Hopefully LED lighting is in my future!angle2.jpgangled.jpgfullangle.jpg

Two plants (Supergirl and Unknown Indica) on the front of the left two rows arent mine. They are just being doctored back to health after my Son's dogs got ahold of them and broke one at the soil level and ate most of the other one. Rebounding slowly under care, repair, nutrients and better light than the blurple he had them under in the closet. I told him I'd take them for a while and play doctor :P

60 days in, Very happy with the progress of the first of many inside grows. Ive taken all I learned on the forum here and have performed LST, topping, F'ming and other techniques and now that the plants have gotten older I can see the difference between topping and F'ming and LST vs just letting them reach for the sky. Also proper nutrient use and care. Growing mediums and lighting. And saving the two plants at the front of the two left rows that were all but dead from the son's dogs. Everything I've learned has been because of the RIU forum. Ive been mentored by a member and great friend I met here and he even gifted me some easy-to-grow seeds for this grow. Durban Poison, Maui Wowie, and Thailand. I took advantage of the great specials on 4/20 and stocked up on some of the newer strains so Ive actually have seeds for years. So many years of failed Guerilla grows you cant imagine my happiness right now. Cant wait for bud production and experiencing the frosty goodness that Ive seen in so many photos here.

Thought I'd share day 60 progress with a few photos.
