Med MJ Grower In Valley.

As we all know, here in Ak, we a limited to six plants, three in veg, three in bud. Would appreciate if someone cane define for me "in veg." Does this mean having roots. I have a pretty high mortality rate from the time I take cutting until rooted and moved to larger container. Also, would like definition of "in bud." To me that means ready to harvest. The bud is no good until the bud is good...
Please bear with me, I am almost 60 and I wasn't born with a computer in my crib. I don't do Facebook, Twitter, none of it. I don't know what a "tag" is, nor do I know what a "trackback" is. Any enlightenment would be appreciated because this thread/forum looks like it might be fun and informative...All new to me...

Well i guess the best think to do is to contact you local police (I did) and see what they say. My state has the same type of rules so, it's bestt o find out from the ones who would bust your door in....Good luck and let us know...JR

If I were to guess, they mean three in a vegetative state, and three in a flowering state. My guess.

http://www.safeaccessnow.org/ Mogi, This site may be of help for you. I too am more than willing to help you in any way I can. I agree much of the law is gray and difficult to understand and define. I cannot define the law for you however I can give you my opinion as to what I believe the law means, what I practice, and that which I have learned from those whom I have been seeking answers.

The plant numbers and the amount allowed to have in possession is of course the most controversial. The law states three mature and flowering and three immature. One ounce of "usable" in possession. States nothing about "bud" or "Vegg" those are our terms. What I am going to challenge the state on is defining "Mature" and "Usable". I agree that it is far too difficult for anyone to define these terms as they read. I feel that not only would the state have a hard time prosecuting a medical patient on account of the un-clarity of the law, but a patient cannot define the law if the state cannot provide means of proof as to what a "Mature" cannabis plant is, or at what point cannabis become "usable".

Another gray area that needs to be addressed is the Caregiver ship information. According to the law as it reads, it is a "catch 22" in my opinion. You may care for yourself meaning six plants. You may care give for another patient; Another 6? Only one ounce at any one time does not leave room for two patients, though usable is the only term that relates to what the ounce is other than marijuana. Another means of approaching the same idea, is that the definition of Marijuana is not that of its extracts. Extracts are simply properties of Marijuana. Marijuana also has mixed definitions depending on where you look however; medical definitions seem to be the most inaccurate!? Maybe the law can define it? Regardless In plant form, to a medical patient seeking cannabis medication, “Marijuana” is not "usable" thus needing further explanations.

We should meet. Contact me directly.

Dear Woodsmantoker,
As I said before, computers are not my exactly my area of expertise. You said we should meet and for me to contact you directly; not quite certain how to do that. I would appreciate it if you would follow through. I really liked your intelligent response to my query. However, it only raised a whole new set of questions for me, but what is wrong with more questions? I think that is a major problem with this whole med mj deal. There has not been enough questions asked and definitely, not enough questions answered.
I have no idea how "protected" I am if I give out my email address, let alone my phone number. I do live out KGB in Wasilla. Anyway, I am not sure how to contact you directly. I am not into playing "cat and mouse," but not sure how to proceed.
Always, Me and the dogs!!

I have probably made a huge mistake and posted this twice. Sorry! Please bear with me and my total ineptitude with computers.

Dear jrinlv,
What kind of answer is that? Believe me, someone already called the police on me for nine plants, mostly clones (unrooted!), that is the reason for my question. They took my lighting system, a new bag of Pro-Mix, Super Thrive, blah, blah, blah. Less than $1200 (not counting the little bit of weed, also my time and my heart, hopes and wishes)), but that is a lot of money for someone on almost 200% less than poverty level, fixed income, disabled, with dogs to feed-retired service dog, one about to retire and a nine month old Great Pyrenees (my up and coming service dog-if I live that long).
Not sure what state you live in, but my personal opinion is, it is not a good idea to call the cops and ask them if you are doing something illegal. Good luck and smoke on...

Mogi,

Hey pal, I completely understand your position. I continue to help people who have never once used a PC, are elderly, dissabled, blind, deaf, poverty stricken, and living their final days. I too am ill and limited on time. I learned everything I am today on my own with no motivation other than that which was given to me by those whom felt I deserved punishment for medicating using cannabis. When I was made a criminal, I became a teacher. When I had a plant taken, I grew 3 more. When I felt I had been robbed of my hard work, I worked that much harder. In the end, who wins? Its up to you.

(worry not, you have already come to the right place with the right tools "you were born with them". The rest is just a learning curve) Click on my screen name and choose private message. Send me a message from there. Private messages are less likely to give problems when discussing "personal" info. Never need to give anyone your TRUE identity, nor would I ever suggest it. Quite the opposite. I would suggest you not mention where you are, where your from, your age, sex, any of it. Let people read between the lines. I can explain more from a private message and will do so. Check your messages. (top right corner of screen there is a Notifications icon. Click it and find the message I sent. Click the message and that will bring it up. You can reply from there.

hey mogi i too suck at cloning so dont feel bad..have you ever thunk about air layering? a lot better chance of success 4 sure..and if you have more than 3 they are still part of one (1) plant..ha ha
scrape underside of stem, treat with root powder/gel,wrap with wet peat moss and plastic..hope this helps..

Dear boyusa2,
Not quite sure what Mat Valley mountain you are referring to. Pioneer Peak, I guess, is technically the highest "mountain" here in the Valley. I, however, live on the highest topographical elevation on Knik-Goose Bay Road. I don't know, maybe you are talking about the mother of all mountains, the mighty Denali (or, to outsiders, McKinley). Is this some kind of quiz?

Hey Mogi, I'm living in Anchorage now. So sorry to hear about your run in with the law; that really sucks that they took your stuff. This is a really hard place to be below poverty level. It is still hard to imagine someone turned you in here in Alaska. From what I have been told and seen, people tend to mind their own business and live and let live. There was a guy on Fishhook Road that had a trailer full of pot and the whole neighborhood knew it but nobody said anything because they guy was just trying to make a living and not hurting anyone.

I was the poster child for sucking at cloning; I tried it for two years before I finally found a system that worked last year. Every year I suck a little less at this, LOL. Just remember, it's the spouting whale that gets the harpoon.
