Yea, calcium nitrate. Can be found pretty much anywhere, reasonably cheap, for now.

Seems mostly products with Potassium and Phosphorous are the ones that jumped in price. Calcium nutriate went up a few dollars but not 100% like most.

Yes part B is just calcium nitrite you can use any brand Calnit for the Part B

Just got my bag, definitely lighter colour than the bag I got a couple years back, also smaller calcium balls. Anyone know what version this is? Says 9-7-14. Still smells, can anyone comment on whether this version leaves any residue in your Rez like the original? Or whether it dissolves better? Those are the main reasons I stopped using it, clogged my drip lines daily.

Smaller balls should be version 3 as people wanted smaller balls but then people started to complain about something else lol

the balls are cal nit i would imagine... Take them out and reduce that N number
I still have 3/4 of a fat sack of MC v 2....i find it works not so bad in veg...i alternate it with jacks classic 20 20 20 (i have way too much of that shit too).
They combine to provide anything the other is lacking...or its magic...the plants dont burn.

Well pretty disappointed with the newest version. it doesn’t seem like much has changed through the versions in terms of dissolving. Still has the same problem I ran into on the v1 which is it doesn’t dissolve fully and leaves a residue at the bottom of whatever you leave the mix in like your rez, feed bucket etc. Seems there’s small black particles that stay suspended in the mix. No chance I’ll attempt to run this through my drip system so good for hand watering for week one veg and that’s all.

Ya same here i mix in 5 gal buckets by the time bucket is full its all dissolved gotta mix it well right from the startI haven't had any problems dissolving the current MC in warm water, ~80F.
Even the balls dissolved well before I started to grind them
But I haven't gone over 6.7g/gallon and I hand water.

MC completely gunked up my res when I used to last year. The plants got wick magnesium deficiencies too. I'm glad to hear that they are working on improving it.

Ya there’s just no comparison to the dry line of gh I ran last year in terms of how clean and how well it dissolves. And I do heat up a few gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket first and add the powder to that mix before adding to my barrel or tank and it makes no difference.

This is what my mix looks like, and this is a few days after making the rez. This was put in the bucket about 2 minutes before and can already see the sediment. Is this just normal for mc?

The colour is fine. It contains kelp and chitosan so you can't expect a clear solution after mixing.

You must have one of the older versions? The 2 part you can’t really tell there is anything in the water. Dissolves totally with a bit of stirring.

I liked this stuff way better if your smoking it as works well & hard to burn etc even thought I hammered my plants once they got going with this stuff but back off well before flower.
