I have used it with great results, my plant were always healthy but something was off and i havent though about it til recently, then it hit me...:wall:

What are your experiences with MG, pros and cons? Just want to hear from people who have actually used it and their thought about it?

I’ve used Nature’s Care Organic by MG and it was pretty good. Roots organic blows it away IMO.

I had very nice growth with it. Had I known then what I know now I wouldn’t have bottle fed. I burned them a little bit, but overall I was thoroughly impressed.

Yeah people love to hate miracle gro lol I’ve been using it for three years now, regular yellow bag mixed with perlite at a 1-3/1-4 ratio. Regular unfertilized perlite, not MG perlite. I’ve had some really good grows with it. I add some P-K after stretch.

Mentioning MG and cannabis in the same sentence is like blasphemy. I only bought it cause I didn’t know any better. I was a hydro grower back in the day, didn’t feel like doing it now, figured I would go the soil route. And that’s when I got MG. I don’t use it anymore because I like to control what I feed, but I have no issues with MG at all.

Well I've decided to get away from MG, just to see if I can dial it in, without having to depend on the time release fertz. This way I can control the nutes going in a lil more effectively during flower.

Didnt really have any major issues with mg though I feel I need to step away from it and see for myself... to be continued...

No argument there. I don’t use it anymore either. I’m 100% organic grow now, I love the fact that I don’t have to flush.

Seems like people have been getting some success from MG. It never worked for me. Not saying it was the MG, I was a complete choad at that time too. I think I went through like over 20 seeds and couldn't get them past a week and a half. I didn't know what I was doing. Severely overwatering. Learned about coco shortly after my genocide and haven't looked back. I still think about it and wonder if i can pull it off. Maybe after a few more grows lol

Not advised to start them in mg or any hot soil. To sensitive
I used jiffy pucks after germ, until they grow good roots first...then once they have good roots established ...into mg they go!

Very little waterings til first set of leaves pop, then they can handle full waterings til run off.

The jiffy peat pod things that swell up pretty good?
Where do you keep them while they root?
I've had great results putting them in a net cup with hydroton balls but then they are stuck in those. Haven't tried putting them in coco or soil yet. Those things stay soaked a little to long for me really. People say rockwool stays to wet but i think they also get good air as well. (My experience with it)I like it.

Yes then I put them in small humidity tray with dome. Find them anywhere....Soon as they sprout I remove lid and put under t5 for a few days. Then I know when they are ready for upcan. Cuz I can clearly see roots, into medium they go!
Peat pucks work great in my experience ;)

I used MG for my first 2 grows (i think alot of new growers do because its the easiest to get). They were beasts in veg but always, never failed, had issues in flower. There are better choices.

Their Performance Organics soil in the black bag looks like a good base soil to start with. Nothing wrong with it at all. And it's available at many big box stores. Add some amendments and call it a day. EWC, rice hulls, guano, azomite, etc... Grow some dank.

Im sure its not just MG but the system they use to feed extended times and lack of control it gives. There are soils here by other makes that feed for 4 months that read the same as the bag of MG. Those are the soils i avoid because of the old advice but love to try as i wouldnt need gerts.

You can just buy MG slow release ferts and nix into a basic soil im sure it will be the same thing.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with MG. Hell, they have scientist that form their shit. I just meant it's wrong that they make it too easy to garden...if that makes sense lol. It would be hard to "get in sync" with your plants when you're using something that's designed to do most the brain work for you. Just my opinion. Million ways to ....wipe your butt
