Some may recall my email chain re discovery of U.S. cannabinoid patent back in the day. Well here is another I stumbled across I think is worthy of discussion. I'll upload the pdf from my computer in comments. Anyone can search the patent office with patent # as well.

what makes medical marijuanas different from the other marijuanas?
Exactly there isn't one, I think it's just for genetics domination and possible consequences for the brain. I think it links to a 2017 story I never published being told "don't rock boat" during farm bill legislation. Hint google Monsanto, Poland 2017. Then play devil's advocate with one's self over Poland hemp seed exclusive licence into Kentucky then Colorado.

Sounds like the inventor works for Merck pharmaceuticals. I bet Merck is working on some genetically modified strains and they want to be able to identify their intellectual property in case their genetics end up in an unlicensed growers garden.

With case law already established said crops and "genetic hybrids" owned by them.
