Most racy sativa?

Might as well make this the current sativa thread but we shouldn't limit it to racy effects or landrace imo. I used to chase the racy highs though not something I'm necessarily looking for in a sativa now a days.

Going to flower out a chuck I did a long time ago with Punto Rojo x Durban Punch. Ended up with 3 females & they all smell really good in veg. I want to say its growing like the Punto Rojo mother but it does remind me of Ceskei that's in the Durban Punch. Should flip them next wk or they will get taller than I want them.

The best pheno clones fast in plain water. I have extras of her so might reverse & self this pheno since I didn't get any males. I only made the cross to try & preserve the Rojo mother. Wouldn't be surprised if they lean more towards Durban Punch. From my limited chucking experience, sativa males tend to dominate the crosses I've made.

My rule of thumb is always go by the trichomes. If you have a variety that needs to cure a long time it may just be wiser to cob the sativa and save a few months of cure time. I know the golden tiger got better after 3 months but because I finished it all around or before this time I never got to see what proper 6 month cure could give. I harvested with 70-75% cloudy and the rest clear, after about 6 weeks in a jar it is good enough to smoke, after about 12 weeks the clear trichomes mature into cloudy and the cloudy has some that turn amber, but unlike many varieties of indica which produce CBD, the African/Malawi genetics in Golden Tiger tends to produce thcv and CBG, which produce different effects. I have suspicions that the CBG that is produced by many african and thai varieties as opposed to CBD that contributes to the very long lasting and unique effects, they degrade into CBG and many with high thc tend to have a bit of thc-v, not uncommon if you have a malawi dominant phenotype.

Jack Herer.
Unfortunately I don't think it's easy to get a consistent Jack. Well, in my experience anyway. I've had up ones and more down ones. Not gonna go as far as CL but all over what one would traditionally think of the hybrid spectrum if that makes sense.

Love the cultivar though always been one of my favs.

I just received my Citradelic Sunset seeds and here's a big kicker, the flower time is listed as only 60-70 days.

Once I got some from a dispensary and it almost got me too high, lol. Well just at first. Then it became my favorite strain of the one she I had at the time. I know it didn't make a lot of sense to me since Jack has Nothern Lights in it.

It was just really potent shit that time.

Finally i can start my sativa run and not be running all these hype hybrids..

Started -

4 - Robert Creek Congo S1 (From IG visioncreator420)
4 - C99 #4 x C99 #1 (From Seedbay, LostTribe @ icmag)
3 - Zamal Hash (Limited AceSeeds)

Have not ran the first two before but they should be racy/electric, Zamal Hash is nice, Probably in my top 5 favorite strains i have ever ran, monster yielder with floral, mango carrot, hashy terps. high is amazing, wasn't very racy imo but it was still good uplifting stuff.

also have a pack of GMO x Malawi by Gage Green Group i wanna run after i finish this run up. always thought a GMO x Malawi would be awesome. hopefully GMO terps with a malawi high would be great.

I haven’t done much in the Sativa dominant strains, but that Cinderella 99 from BC Bud Depot. My cousin got some from a friend, smoked some and we watched Avengers: Infinity War 3D and Fantasia 2000 on my 106” screen and is the closest I’ve been to tripping out. The colours were just a popping on/off the screen and really made the 3D more intense in Infinity War. Now I have a few Sativa/sativa dominant plants in my current tent grow like Malawi(Ace Seeds) Lennon (Pyramid Seeds) Crystal METH (Dr. Underground) and Sour Diesel (BlimBurn) Can see myself growing more sativa plants in future grows

The Oaxacan mentioned above, yes. C88. Cinderella's 99 (C88 x Oaxacan) from Sumo. Any C99 cross like C99 x Sweet Skunk and C99 x Texada Timewarp, from Peak Seeds in BC.
I smoked stuff once or twice back in the early 1980s from Thailand or Vietnam that was like this. Most people don't want weed like this.

That’s a great idea! We could start a landrace group journal right here. I’ll follow suit
On the combined subject of funky, energetic-high, landraces- I wish more people would grow out S. African Kwazulu. I got mine (regular) from World of Seeds (via Seedsman) and when in full flower it has a really unique berry-sweet smell that morphs into a dirty-diaper sort-of scent. Like if you fed a baby only berry smoothies and it pooped it out.
Very energetic high, and when smoked it uncured (just dry) gave a headband effect but soon I was off getting shit done!
I crossed some with Durban Poison from Dutch Passion. Have seeds but need grow them out.
Picked the two for their alleged energetic-high, and mold and disease resistance in more mild climates (North Coast of California here).
I really like the Kwazulu funk and high, and the pheno of my DP seems to be an outlier- it’s more “grapefruit pine-sol” than the anise most others talk about. Hopefully get a little terp influence from both- could call it “Mommy/Daddy’s Helper” due to the pine-sol-over-dirty-diaper scent it would hopefully carry, haha.
