MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

Oh sweet....it would be cool to see an all 'warm white LED flower'....never seen that before.

Im thinking my floods are 3000-3200k....but im leaving a cool white in there. (4:1) and putting a 660nm DIY 2 x bar for the last 2 weeks of flowering (maybe on a separate timer)

Yeah man, I like where you are going with that set up :bigjoint:

Whats the total wattage of the floods, and in what size tent?

here's SDS's SDG but he added some 660s. Why I don't know. Maybe he needs to see my results first :bigjoint:, or maybe he's playing to the market mentality:dunce:

HAHA...tent! Im cheaper then cheap bruv...got me some drawers to do my flowering enclosure.

Total wattage will be 210-215watts (true watts)

I thought about adding the 660nm's because of the warm white's being a bit cooler (as you mentioned)

And i want to get my 'hands dirty' giving DIY a go. :)

Hmmmm....he will have his reasons. Its quite easy to see the writing on the wall for blue LED's...dont know why anyone would add them with the knowledge we now have, :)

OK, it's a pretend tent, same as my T5 'tent'. The room is dark at night and the HOT5 doesn't throw enough light past the 2 X 4 to worry about

HeloReins (sp) is doing an awesome grow with only 28ws (but he is using my Merkaba Cluster idea), so I am inclined to not push past the 51w I now have, unless I come across an incredible special at Lowes on another 22watter

Yes i have been looking at his grow with some interest....Wonder if he going to flower with that 28w only?

Oh really....51 watts for flowering of 2 plants. Cool bruv. :)

you could build a cheap room from pvc tape and black and white plastice easy enough. but tents are really cheap 80$ can get you a decent one on ebay.

I used the cheaper Chinese household bulbs with good effect....they were 7-9w ones...think they were around $8-12 each.

Yeah...i also need to be quite stealth aswell so the drawers were perfect. (1 for veg/clones/mothers and 1 for flowering)

Were also $50 each and no shipping costs.

This is where i at currently....another 10-14 days and i start to flower. :) https://www.rollitup.org/led-other-lighting/600170-chronikool-z-led-organic-sog.html

I bought a 2 x 4 X 5 tent from ledwholesalers for < $100, but the plastic hangers that hold the light bar are crap (2xs broke causing light to crash into plants), but that can be DIYed to fix

3 years ago, I did a DIY wood frame + a bunch of auto windshield reflectors. Probably spent near as much as a tent. What I like about it v a tent is that I have access from all sides
.

When I replace it, I will look for > 6 X 6, but have ~ 2 X 4 grow area in the center. That way I would have good access from 3 sides

Flipping to 12/12 today. Just added my ufo 90 into the mix. You can barely see it at the very top. It is behind the DIY rail, which is centered over the girls, so I angled it toward the plant's center.

Probably need something with more 640-660. UFO retailer would not tell me what nm diodes were used.

The next week should be interesting

I have been so focused on my leds, that I haven't mentioned an important change to my HOT5 tent...

As the girls are loading up with pistils, I changed feeding schedule; now feeding once every 3 hours for ~ 1 minute, so 3 times longer in between, but also 3xs as much nutes per feeding

Not grow related, but for the trekkies and or those who believe we are not alone and that govt is hiding that fact http://www.stargate-chronicles.com/site/

The interview with Project Camelot is a mind-blower
why worry about it? it appears our freewill is still intact:D jk but dont let the deception and corruption effect you, its not fun to think about that, drones flying around, cctv, government is becoming socialist, a long as i can grow my weed, fuck it.

Cool to see the extensions in play....love those things. :)

They are great. Wish I had ordered some 23" as well, but they did appear as an option. Due to growing in a bubble bath, I simply rotate the plants 180*s so the far side can also get the benefit of the extenders
