I would really like to get involved in blowing glass, i am a welder, and would like to adapt my knowledge to becoming a gaffer. anyone do workshops ?

you already know 70% of what you need to know. all you have to do now is buy a torch and kiln.

google "glass blowing" in your area. there are a lot of workshops out there.
