My predicament

So I lost my job about 3 almost 4 months ago for failing a piss test. When I stop smoking to get a new one I start going through withdrawals, just craving the taste, the cough, everything. About two years ago I quit meth cold turkey, was aye ok with it and I was fine. My life is on the line this time, my house, bills, my sanity all of it. What's a guy to do? Obviously stop, I just need some help grasping why this is harder than meth. I'd appreciate any feedback honestly. Thanks everyone, peace

Withdrawal can be severe for many things such as cigarettes, soda, drugs, and even food to name a few. Most people refuse to accept that withdrawal from cannabis is "hard". Most think because it is a relatively harmless substance the withdrawal isnt as "hard" as some of the other harder substances as meth, cocaine, heroin. I say thats bullshit!! Withdrawal from cigarettes and coffee can just about turn any mild mannered person into a homicidal maniac. But I have a theory.....most of those harder substances leaves a person's system much faster than cannabis does. I am not lessening withdrawal from harder substances by any means but how can a person be suffering if their system is clean from the drug within 72 hours....I think the withdrawal from cannabis is much tougher because if you are a die hard smoker and decide to quit you are basically looking at minimum of a couple weeks for the cannabis to leave your system, and in some cases much longer.....if you have no other choice at this point but to stop smoking, just take it one day at a time and try to distance yourself from things that remind you of smoking and hopefully after a week or so it will get easier for you and you wont spend as much time thinking about it, and just try to stay busy. Good luck and hope you can get things back in order or where they need to be anyway.

Yeah it's rough coming off a daily THC habit. I feel out of sorts for a few weeks. Of course sleep is rare the first few nights, then you gradually get back to normal sleep, with dreams and everything. I actually find it kind of disturbing to be dreaming again. Dreams are some weird shit. And then if you weaken and take one hit you will immediately go back to daily use again, at least in my case. Then when the tooth blows up I have no choice but to quit again.

take this from a fellow lifetime smoker who also went down the path of meth before, "pull your fucking head out of your ass!!!" harder than meth, are you kidding. Have smoked for decades and stopped every other month to go work for a month with no issues. Withdrawls are normal, but its in no league with meth and shouldnt be compared as such

I'm just seeing all of these now I'm not sure why, I've since stopped smoking. I'm pretty good now, the seed I just planted was a dud so I'm taking that as a sign to quit smoking for a few months as aposed to just getting a new job.

5 days all better Hugh ???
It's not like I don't want to smoke but it's not where I'm craving it. The need for a job I guess just clicked in my head idk. Hopefully it'll just be legal in the next year or so, then we won't have to worry
