My Second Grow

Well, all seeds have germinated and out of six germinated seeds, 5 have broke through the soil. I have them under a strip floro for now. As soon as I finish harvesting my first grow (soon) I will switch my ballast to the mh and veg under that.

I am growing two each of aurora indica, ak48, and skunk special. The skunk is all that is left to come out of the soil. In a nice world at least one of each will be girls.

All six seeds have sprouted.
I only have one timer, and I need it on my finishing girls. But I think those will be done in no longer than 2 more weeks.

So for now, I am turning the floro's on and off when I think of it.
If any one reads this and has input (at the freak chance I do something wrong)lol), feel free to jump in.

Still don't have my camera cord.

Don't worry about timing for the plants in the veg. state. Just leave the light on 24 hours a day. With a fluorescent tube, there is very little chance of fire and whatnot. Good luck.

By turning the lights on and off with no special schedual you risk putting the plant at unnessecary stress. You will find a better female to hermy/male ratio
if your plants have a relatively stress-free life.

That's what kinda shit I was thinking, so they are now on a timer. All better.
17 hours of light, then one more hour to break their sleep at night.

I have bugs though!!! AGHH!!!!!
Little nat like things, walking around on the soil, and flying up to munch. Jack ass bugs!

umm tabaco tea and and some fans blowing on the soil will help for now but try a 'non-toxic' (wtf right) bug bomb .. they're safe for edible crops getit at ure local hydro store and make sure that it says safe for edibles. do it sooner than later and avoid doing it near ure flowering plants near harvest (could bebad to smoke) BUT ON YOUNG PLANTS IT Cant hurt ya itl washoff from misting before you get to that point in their life cycles.

You can also buy lady bugs which munch on lots of little bugs, and or a prayin mantis... i had 5 for my 20plant crop... they chill in ur plants, dont know if they bite or not never been bit... but there neat little friends that munch every bug that grows in or on marijuana

never heard of ladybugs for sale. where do I get either?

I know you can buy them online. I'm hoping some local places might as well.

Well, there is an ak48 that looks like it is half ass trying to live. I am tired of looking at it and if it doesn't do something interesting by tomarrow, I am going to put it in the garbage disposal.

All the others have already got the sets of three, even one that sprouted after the stunted single leaf looser.

I don't like dissapointments.

The runt has started growing. They are now all under a 400w mh, and very happy about it. The most of them are already having their 7 leaf sets started. Almost time to top.
