Nausea-fighting Strains

I've dealt with debilitating nausea for years (medically retired from army) and have not found a great solution. I've been growing Blueberry because it seems to stimulate appetite and suppress nausea but my tolerance is super high and it doesn't have the same effect anymore. I'm looking for Anti-Nausea specific strains. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best anti-nausea drug isn't cannabis... but it does start with a c;)

Whenever someone says a strain is good for something specific (like depression or headaches or toothaches or sex), I stop listening. On that note, if you have any links to studies done regarding this, please link.

Cannabis is in fact more effective than many medicines designed or utilized for nausea.

The issue simply becomes that the amount you need to smoke or eat becomes greater with tolerance.

If you have been dealing with this for a long time, try eating it in significant doses.

I do not believe different strains have greatly varying amounts of anti-nausea benefits, it is the THC that has those benefits, and more nausea or pain requires higher dosing.

Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss specifics. But my view is the issue is just tolerance for you, not strain. Blueberry is a fine strain for nausea.

I'm with you on all that except for your first sentence.
I was prescribed promethazine and it made me so groggy all the time and then I convinced the doc to let me try marinol. It was too strong, but effective. I started vaping after that, but for some reason it makes me cough and my throat sore lately, (don't want to be coughing in these times) so now I just been adding the coconut oil to my tea.

Vaping isnt perfect thats for sure. If vaping works i would eat a large dose and then vape minimally.

If you can exercise lightly i.e. take a walk, that helps tremendously too.

Believe it or not, the most simple and basic thing to do for nausea is eat some salt (something salty). Thats not nearly enough for a medical patient, but its amazing how well it works.
