Well it depends on how much money you want to spend and what type of warranty you expect. US based company's will usually offer a longer warranty and be easier to return if needed but the price will be significantly higher. Hlg, timber to name a couple. There is also Mars hydro, spider farmer, and viva spectre. I personally chose to buy from alibaba from a manufacturer in china. I went with kingbrites 240w quantum boards at about half the price and 1 year warranty. Most of these US based company's get their parts from China and just finish the build here in the US so you're basically getting the same light just rebranded. In a 4x4 space I would go with 2 or 3 240-300 watt quantum boards or a 480 led bar from any if those us based company's mentioned above or if you choose Chinese based companies meiju and kingbrite are reputable and make quality lights.

Would you send me a link of the light your referring to please?

This is at the high end of your price range, but, may be worth considering:

FL-1 Full-Cycle LED Grow Light | VOLT® Lighting

It's made by a manufacturer of landscape lighting - you can get their kits at Costco - who decided to get into grow lighting as well. In terms of watts per dollar they're hard to beat - especially when you factor in the five-year warranty.

Full disclaimer: I am currently awaiting shipment of their other light, the VL-1, which I bought simply because it offered about the most bang-for-the-buck (440 watts for $350) that I saw in a couple of weeks of shopping around.

I’m liking my new Infinity Board from BudgetLED.com Although I would of probably gone with 2 of these Infinity Boards Just to have a better range in canopy coverage if some stretch taller then others. Plus all month long, they have all their boards at 15% Off with code 420.

.

Anyone have a Diablo Scorpion?

Bookush34 do you have any hotspot problems because of the COBs?

.
No hot spots.
I have that Korona par app on my phone.
I set the center at 1000-1100 PPFD and my outer edges of my 3x3 is around 800ppfd.

I have a smaller light then I posted a link too. ( timber VS4)

When I had my lights close enough to get 1300-1400 PPFD my plants weren’t happy. Droopy at the top 6-10”.

I really like the QB96 engine with the Meanwell driver separate. The reason is that because the driver is separate and this unit is small 4 x 4" it is very easy to place it at jaunty angles and lower into particular spaces, or arranging so that a tall stem has room between the lights. At $125 a set, you'd be up for 5 sets would be pretty versatile, That's only $625 and they'll happily run anywhere from 50W to 190W. Again I recommend this purely for the physical design. It suits how i like to grow it may not suit how you like to grow.

If you've got $800 dollars I personally would buy a Migro Array 8 perfect for a 4×4 tent I am currently saving for one check out the Migro YouTube channel he tests lights and I very truthful does not just try sell his own products it's such a good light it has a full 3 years guarantee if anything goes wrong I'm 3 years you send it back and he sends you a full replacement no arguing and company that offers a guarantee like that is obviously confident in there product light also fully waterproof which I'm not sure you need but it's pretty cool lol

I'm using hlg diablo and chilled tech lights and have 0 complaints for either one. I also have cree cobs that I used before getting the lights I have now. If you do go with cobs I would suggest getting some far red and uv to supplement, or go with the chilled led puck/cob. My cobs grew rock hard nugs, but my new lights are growing bigger plants faster. At least I think they are. I have my cobs on a shelf collecting dust now.
