Need help with ventilation

My gf has just got a new flat in a very rural area(kind of place where people talk about anything because there’s nothing to talk about) we have a spare room which is a fairly large room, we want to fill the whole room, there’s a window where the u can see the garden(which is shared so has to be blacked out) and there’s a weird kind of I suppose vent hole.
My question is, if I vent air in through that hole can I use a extract in the same room but it wouldn’t lead to anywhere? How do I set this up?

You will need to open up the vent hole and buy a exhaust vent, say you buy an 8inch exhaust fan and filter you will attach the filter to the fan pulling air out and exhausting through the ducting which attaches to the exhaust vent and goes outside

Yh that’s the type of vent that’s there already, I could use that to vent air out but what about for air to come in?

So long as the veg tent doesn't leak any light whatsoever into the flower room, it'll be just fine. I have a veg tent and two flower tents in the same area/room of my basement.
