Need some advice on grow media/nutes

I want to change my set up from using light soil and nutes all the way through to nuted soil so I don’t have to feed nutes in the water. This is because I’ve had problems with salt build up. Plus I want to try organic.
So I’m in the UK and The one I’ve see on is bio buzz all mix. Has anyone grown with this? How long do the nutes in the soil last before you need to feed? Also if you need to add organic nutes, which ones can you add to water? I know molasses are good I have them at the ready. Do you get big buds still or are artificial nutes better for yield? Any advice on a Set up and schedule would be appreciated

You should check out the Organics section. You can start with some decent soil and grab some nutrients. Bottles if you want, or dry stuff. Earth Juice is good stuff, but it's best to bubble it first. Good stuff though and makes tasty stinky buds. But get whatever's local. Dry is less work. Also with organics it takes awhile to become available and if you overdo it you can't just flush it out like salts and coco.

Read through at least 25 pages on the the Recycled Organic Living Soil thread (it’s almost 500 pages long), and check out the organic feeding 101 thread. Those threads will lay everything out for you in terms of making your custom soil mix, sourcing ingredients, and feeding - why/how. I just did exactly what you’re trying to do. I flushed my old shitty salt-laden soil after a poor grow and then re-amended it. I’m on day 56F right now. Plants are healthier than ever. Be warned, there is a lot of “homework” to do. Take notes, locate sources for stuff, research it, and “cook” your soil. Happy reading, and good luck, it’s totally do-able.

If you are in the UK, have a look at Plant Magic Old Timers. I have been using it along with Plant !T Pro Mix.
I think I’m guna go with plant magic I use the non organic one atm but always have issues with salt build up. Organic doesn’t get build ups right?
