New ballast

Howdy y'all!
I have an old Apollo Horticultural 400W HPS/MH ballast for an air-cooled hood... there's nothing wrong with it, but I would like to step up to a ballast that doesn't cause any interference...
I know the technology is old (I have three Timber systems), but I am really liking the results I got with the combo of COB's and HPS I got this past round, so I want to step up my ballast to one that doesn't cause any interference...
Anyone have any recommendations? I'm cool with sticking with a 400 watt ballast...

Just buy a digital ballast they dont interfere with rf signals like the old magnetic ones do

So, just any digital ballast? Their all, pretty much, the same?

The old magnetic ones don't interfere with signals. The RF is produced by the higher frequency unshielded digital ballasts.

Can't go wrong with Quantum and Hydrofarm - their warranty support is second to none. I have a lot of their products in my garden and no regrets

What does that political nonsense have to do with the thread? The OP asked about ballast's, not political affiliations of posters nor comments about political views of Americans by us Canadians? There is a politics section for such things if you really have an urge to bring that stuff to a pot growing site.

Care to explain a little more?
I read, somewhere, it's the cable that needs to be shielded...
To be honest, I truly don't know if mine is magnetic or digital, but what can/should I do with my 2015-2016 Apollo ballast to not get interference?
If it's the actual ballast, how would I shield it? What do I shield it with? I heard copper and/or braided stainless steel?
