New grower watering ?

So I am a new grower. I have just transplanted my clones yesterday and gave nutes about 24 hours ago. I transplanted them into 3 gal planters I am wondering if I should feed again. They soil is not bone dry but has some moisture. I will be posting pics and videos as the grow progresses

depending on the soil it probably doesn't need nutrients for a while. and it probably doesn't need water for at least a few days. till the pot is very light.

ok thank you. I am new to this so trying to understand how the feeds should go. Do you think I should buy a meter that shows the moisture in soil to know when to feed? Also, I was under the impression to never use regular water to water plants.

i dont think you need a moisture meter just wait until the pot is as light as when it was completely dry. what is the soil called? soil has nutrients in it already so you dont have to add more until they are depleted. liquid nutrients are for use in hydroponic growing medium which are inert (no nutrients added)

The meter is cheap and will help you know when to water. Then get used to what the soil looks like and the weight of the pot.

Stick your finger into the soil up to your knuckle and if you feel moisture you're still ok for another day or two. Also pick it up after you first feed it and feel the weight compared to when it's dry. Two easy ways to tell before you start reading the plants. They will tell you when they need more.

ok thanks that was very helpful from the looks of it I just need to relax and let them get adjusted to their new pots. They are looking green and standing tall as of now. lets keep our fingers crossed
