hi everyone this is my fist thread and growroom got a closet that is 7 foot high 5 lengh 3 wide its covered head to toe in diamond mylar and has a big carbon filter and extractor 3 4inch inlet holes and outlet is through the attic i have a 4 bulb envirolight reflector and 650 watts of lights running the temps got to 30.2 but the extractor should be more then capable to to clear the air out almost instantly the only thing i can think of is that i have fixed a 4 inch ducting to a 6inch extractor and filter by bodging it on with duct tape i can feel the cool air going in through the inlet holes and they all seem to pull the same amount of air but would the 4 inche pipe change to 6 make any difference my cutting are almost ready to go in the room and i dont want to have a bad start :?
my setup for this grow is a wilma 10 pot
canna clay pebbles
nutes are on their way
thanks in advance for any help

air cooled hood? but i grow at a steady 28-30 and never had a problem to date. just make sure it gets lots of intake air and circulation and you should be fine

hey early... I never had any problems with enviro lights.. even when they were just a couple inches from the foliage..

cheers

a simple fan blowing in-between the light and the plant should FIX any heat problem those lights can cause.

cheers

i ordered some 6" ducting to fit my extractor and filter just hope it takes it down a couple of degrees.my main worry isnt short term it is long cause if it is that high now it must get higher when the room fills and i start to flower.i know you can grow at 30 but my mates are all at 26 to 28 and keep telling me that 30 will slow down the growth of the plants humidity is perfect always at about 48 to 55 i only want the best start cause i have some lovely cuttings ready for the wilma in a couple of days
