Hey all,

Looking to do my first CBD grow. I've done a couple regular grows so far.

Looking for something to help with various aches/pains/inflammation and hopefully uplifting effect that I can use during the work day.

Do the CBD strains Sativa/Indica offer the same uplifting/couch lock effects as the THC varieties? If so I would want high on the Sativa side.

What's the minimum amount of THC needed to maximize the CBD effects?

Any recommendation on strains and where to purchase? Looking for Auto Fem's preferably. I've only ordered from Seedsman previously.

Thanks.

I was going to suggest Candida as well its the best cbd strain ive grown so far works great for inflamation especially in my gut also great for anaphylactic shock, depression, nervousness, siezers, high anxiety just to name a few that has helped me ive been growing the same pheno that i picked out of my pack for 3+ years now i also love this strain, its a sativa ive grown indica varieties but they did nothing for me unless i ingested it but cd1 works best for me simple taking a few small hits. I also bought them through Seedman but they are currently out of stock.

Thanks. I put them in the notification list for when they come back.

I ordered the Doctor Seedsman CBD 30:1 to try for now. Hopefully they turn out decent.

True north seed bank usually has them in stock. I’ve never had an issue with that bank ordering seeds.

I know people have their opinion on Crop King, but their Shishkaberry x Candida is a 1:1 at around 20% that I've found to be damn good. It reeks like the Shishka. A few people that tried it found it to be very helpful for their pain and I used it for sciatica.

I tried growing a cherry wine plant last year and it worked out great. Picked up some seeds from greenpoint. Didn't lab test the flower but I was able to take her through Columbus Day and based on tests reported by other CW growers CBD was probably close to 20%. Very nice effects.

This year I got a bunch of seeds from United American Hemp and Fortuna (greenpoint out of cw). Both working out well so far.

It depwends on the amount and ratio of cbd to thc. A 1:1 ratio will offer you more of the effects of thc then a 30:1 ratio will. You will find that the cbd wears off and the stone d effect will come through on stronger variaties.
im looking at a 1:1 ratio of thc to cbd, this is ment to be the magic number/ ratio for medicinal weed and should do you well.
i also did a 3:1 cbd to thc ratio grow and found it very usefull too. Get a few single seeds or three packs of cbd seeds and see which ratio suits you best
