Hey guys doing a dwc project here with Maui waui photo period.

5 gallon bucket 6 inch net pod

lighting 2300w led grow
18 hours time schedule
Ambient temp 73F
Tent temp 73-83F
Humidity in air 55%
air flow rotating fan
Nutrients this week is a flush week
water using = RO 3 stage filtration

before adding nutrients the readings typically avg

ppm 15
Ec .025 ms
Temp from tap 63.7

all of my notes and readings are on the chart

I am getting what looks like nutrient burn however, my numbers are well within the recommended parameters. I was wondering if that could be because there isn’t a big enough air gap between net pod and water? Could it be because the fan might beblowing a bit too much on it? Or is it light burn?

the roots are all bright white and look healthy, that is why I am asking.

my dude... you're feeding WAY TOO STRONG to start with. Especially if she's only at Day 16.

Seedlings and clones: 300 ppm
Rapid vegetative growth: 500-700ppm

Also, are you using any CalMag since it's RO?
Thanks for all of the replies I will begin with the feeding by 1/3 of what I have been doing.
No I have not been adding cal mag into it. I was thinking the fox farm nutrients would provide all it needed. I’m using the dirty dozen plus mackerel and kelp. I was mixing for a 4 gallon solution.

So you're not using any CalMag but using RO water? That could be your problem. Tap water / soft water provide enough, but if you're using RO, you're not getting any CALMAG.

Look at your nutrients and see if there's any in any of them, if not, you need to go get you some. I personally do not know anything about that line of nutrients but it looks like they have a calmag for that line :

i agree. 0,8 to 1.0EC for that plant.

could you list the dirty dozen and the additives? you probably don't need most of that stuff esp as a newb.

I'd personally suggest cutting down on SO much stuff - especially for such a small res. Your PPMs will be through the roof.

IF you still want to use some of the supplements and everything included - I'd at least cut down to this.

I'd personally cut down those numbers significantly... Like 30ml is quite a lot for one gallon imo. I use GH - but at this stage I'm only using like 3ml/gal of the Gro / Micro / Bloom.

I'd suggest cutting down those numbers by 4 AT LEAST. Ex: Big Bloom week one 1.25 tsp = ~6 ml

Boomerang I would only use if your ladies are looking pitiful and need to recover - but even then you'll need a clean res and NO OTHER nutrients added.

Personally this is what I would use with some CalMag + maybe some Southern AG for beneficial bacteria, unless you're running a sterile system?

Nice, I’ll give that a shot

Ok dumped everything out added cal mag and done 1/3 ratio of normal for the girl today our levels were 711 ppm pretty high but just a little over your parameter so I’ll just fit in the difference when adding more water in a couple days. Ec is 1.6 and ph is 5.85. Now we wait and see how she does

Ok, here is the update

ppm I have been trying to keep it between 600 and 650

the ec is avg 1.3
Oh around 5.85

Starting week 4
leaves still showing some burn

Hypotheses is I need to go even lower with ppm

I’m at a 612ppm now and I am going to try to keep it around 580-620 range

another challenge was water temp. I had to keep putting refrigerated water to keep it between 68 and 74 deg
