New to LED's and this lamp! Does anyone have thoughts on dimming the HLG Scorpion Diablo?

Its very helpful to have some way to measure the light intensity at your canopy. I use the free lux light meter app on my android phone. Its not the best, but its free and gives a pretty good idea of the range you are in.
The following tool converts lux to ppfd

I assume the 3500k low cri option for my LEDs. At 55000lux, that is 882ppfd...almost 900ppfd. Anything above that is diminishing returns unless you have CO2 supplementation, so I usually adjust my lights by height and dimming to have a max intensity of 55000lux based on those assumptions.
You can also use ppfd/par map diagrams for those HLG lights, and adjust your light accordingly to have the desired ppfd at the canopy. That assumes that the ppfd/par maps are accurate.
