Just got some beans dunked in for the new year. Got two seedlings going already and just dunked 12 more! @Bad Dawg genetics
Run away bride X tres star dawg(bad dawg cut), lbf#2 (starfighter pheno), putang Bx C runaway bride, lbf #2 (LBL pheno)

@BobBitchen chicken dinner, honeybee, fookiesx fireball , kush#18 x fireballs (doc danks collaboration),

@HydroRed Mothers milk f2, rhubarb s1( chip greens collaboration)

@Gu~ Chinook haze and Raindance (Raindance already sprouted, is the leaf varegiation a common trait for this cross? Ive seen it on some stardawg crosses already~guessing its from that side. )20230106_063852.jpg

@The Mantis funky Cold medina (really appreciated you sending me these, looking forward to my second plant run! Hope you are doing well

and also one bag seed from a friend already sprouted! 20230107_105323.jpg
20230107_104704.jpg20230107_114833.jpg
Scuffed, h202 presoak, then into shot glasses h20 with 300 ppm nutes at 6.0 ph. This time im going to be very careful from the seedling phase on and be proactive.

I've got a 2x2 ac infinity tent coming with @Inkbird dual seedling heat mats, inkbird 6in wifi controlled fan, a wifi th3 temp and humidity logger, under a hlg 65 v2 4k board . This will be my seedlings tent .

The 2x4 tent will be veg tent eventually but for now I'm trying to reveg some plants from last run in it. The sp3000 from @MarsHydrofactory is doing great in there I haven't checked but I got around a half a lb from that tent with minimal effort. Once I get a few keepers I can set up that tent solely for perpetual verging.

In the 5x5 I'll be rocking HLG lights primarily with a @VIVOSUN Official VS3000 in the center. I am very impressed with the fixture so far this will be my second grow with it, and this time around I'll be aiming for a much lower canopy and flipping to flowering sooner

I made the mistake of too much stretch last round, this time I am going to focus on training and shortening the plants more, as well as automating and dialing in lighting and watering. Looking forward to updating this as I go along and improving my grow this year!

I also want to mention all of the seeds I'm growing except the one from a friend are all from our local RIU community folks. Keep up the great work yall!!

Thanks BD for the kind words I'll need the luck lol. I always want to mono crop to try to hit some numbers but I have so many seeds to run lmao I bet controlling the height might suck but I really need to get the ball rolling with some new seedlings. Really looking forward to some of these awesome looking crosses you've sent me I'm glad I finally have the chance to get a taste of them.

Variety is the spice of life!

Tonight I started preparing the coco. I rinsed it in my sink in a 5gal perforated bucket and mixed it with this claw gardening tool I have. Starting PPM was 100 after rinse.

I took the bucket with the coco and placed that bucket inside a closed off 5g bucket and filled with water
I use pump bottle heads on 1g nutrient containers and add them in. The nutrients on such a small scale are hard for me to measure exact
Here are the approx PPM of each that I added in order
~A little tribus grow
~50 ppm armor si
~50 ppm Epsom salts
~150ppm calmag
~100ppm micro
~75ppm grow
~75ppm bloom

All seeds have sunk in their shot glasses and I got the 20" x 20" all cleaned up with the dual heatmats set up . I can't wait to get my 2ft x 2ft tent to replace this so everything fits better!

Ppm in the slurry reads 600 and pH is 6.0 with no pH adjustment

The coco pre rinse and charging steps seem to give me much better results. I am letting the coco sit overnight in the nutrient water to exchange cations and I expect the pH to change by the morning. I will adjust it to 6 and then wait until tomorrow afternoon to judge if the coco is fully charged and pH balanced.

20230107_222617.jpg20230107_222710.jpg20230107_232851.jpg

I might set up a blumat system to water these so I can be lazy once the 2x2 tent comes in, we'll see

I'm going to do my best to keep constant daily updates in an effort to do a better grow this cycle.

@Inkbird is letting me test out the new 6" fan they came out with and it just came in. I was thinking about buying one when I saw them on sale for around 100$ which is a steal for a wifi controlled dc fan. It came off Amazon in non discreet packaging which for some people is a negative but it doesn't matter for me. I have a lot of inkbird products and I like their price points and reliability. I've had a bunch of their small hygrometers for my curing jars and the dual zone heat mat controller.

I was having some problems hooking all these up to my phone but I found out if I split my routers dual band output into 2 seperate signals (2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz) I can then pair up with my equipment. In the future I might end up getting the Hub so I can access all my inkbird gear remotely. It is competitively priced to AC infinity and so far, just from looking at it , It is similar or maybe even higher quality-- time will tell.

Here's some pics of the fan that came in and the app
20230109_163008.jpg20230109_162933.jpgScreenshot_20230109_182704_INKBIRD.jpg

I might not be able to reach my goal of daily updates tomorrow but perhaps if I get the 2x2 tent in or maybe a seedling pops up I'll throw a pic up of it. Hoping for a high germ rate with all this damn prep work!

I decided to set the heat mat to 74-77, hopefully that is a good range

The friend who gave me the bag seed had gotten it from a friend so I asked to see if he remembered what the weed was called. Turns out the bagseed is from a cross of Hindu Kush x Blue Guava. Looked up the lineage on blue guava and hopefully it will be something special! I included a pic of the HK x BG , before and after topping it today.

Also some seeds popped thru this morning
-putang bX
-stardawg x runaway bride
-chix dinner

20230111_062936.jpg20230111_063053.jpg

Still not a sign of reveg on my plants from last grow. Sometimes it can take around a month to see some growth, I really hope that greases pieces from last round comes back!

The Raindance plant will be ready for a topping probably in a few days, it's a bit smaller than the BG x HK

8/12 seedlings have emerged so far. Got the new tent tonight set up... decided to order one more small tent to go underneath it.

The gorilla clone tent 32" wide, 24" deep, 24" tall is the dimensions. I plan on putting it underneath this tent and I also ordered some of the ac infinity light bars to go in it!

Once the second new tent comes and I build the shelf, the 2x2 will be the lemon trees new home for the remainder of the winter..

Once it's warm enough out , which is my favorite time of year to grow inside because of the LEDs, I'll put the lemon tree outside and use this space for either flowering or as a spot to help with veg/mothers to help with a perpetual cycle.

I picked up some dyno myco granuals to try out as well as some southern ag plant friendly fungicide for applying beneficials this round. The tribus was Hella expensive so I'm going to check out how these work out. I plan on using the dynomyco on transplant and the southern ag as a hand watering to the root ball. Hopefully the coco itself multiplies the microbes due to aeration thru the air pots and consistent automated watering.

I'm having a lot of fun setting all this up. My plan for tomorrow is to start cleaning up my 5x5 tent and getting it prepared so I don't get overwhelmed when I'm ready to use it

On top of all these goals, I ordered some yellow jacket power strips with wire loom in an attempt to neaten up all the wires and shit everywhere.

I'm hoping after this run I finally get all my equipment set up the way I like and am 100% done buying stuff!!

Seedlings are still just sprouts so nothing much to report. Kush x fire , lbf f2(lbl) , lbf x rab, and honeybee still havent broken ground, ill scrape to see if they are in the coco tomorrow.

I started douching out the tents today and reorganizing everything. I really would like to upgrade all my HLG drivers to an AB type they're mostly A's except one. I'm noting the ones I'd like to change up now for the future

2x Hlg-240h-c2100ab 75$ ea
2x Hlg-320h-c1750ab 110$ ea
Hlg-120h-54b $55

There could be a way to use a bigger driver for 6 boards or something but I want each fixture to be independent. I'll revisit this project later I have 4 pot dimmers ready for when I get to this.

Not sure if this is a good route to go i like the ab drivers incase the pot fails they can use the internal dimmer
B Drivers im not sure if theyre better or not, or if i should just stick to what i have. 5 drivers is alot of money to spend on something that already works.

It's going to be a good feeling getting all these wires fully sorted. Every time I try I think it will come out perfect but there is still a ton of work to do.

The VS 3000 @VIVOSUN Official and SP3000 @MarsHydrofactory sent me are so easy to dim which is what makes me wanna add the easy dimmer switches. It's such a big pain in the ass trying to get in there with a screwdriver to dim them once its filled with plants.. if doing diy LED I strongly suggest ab/B type drivers if you have a hard time reaching the lights

Dug into the last 4 that haven't popped up this morning and decided to soak 4 new ones. Got the new clone chamber in now !!. This is really exciting for me to finally have everything really set up where I can do a perpetual set up with a few mothers.

Ordered a worm bin today and some amendments thanks alot for the help @weedstoner420 @hiphop @Budzbuddha @Boatguy @crimsonecho @Hippiechik @Medskunk for everyones advice over on the organic section

One of my big goals which I need to start now is re-using my leftover coco and compost in an outdoor vegetable garden. I don't like soil indoors but it will be alot of fun to get some of the auto seeds I made last year outside for testing! If anyone sees them and wants some once I test them out shoot me a PM I'll send them free you pay postage..

Gearing up for running my trim thru the bubble hash machine this week also

All three plants are revegging! Probably two weeks at least from being clone worthy. I'll chop some more scragglies off next week and shoot for clones sometime after that.

So it's been a bit!

Worms are in!! They are now introduced to the worm bin and I have put some aloe, a banana peel, coffee grounds, already vaped bud, dry green canna leaves in there. I am trying to do the correct wet to dry ratio. I added an inkbird wireless data logger to keep an eye on temp and humidity in there also. I ordered some more soil amendments as well for this project ; I'm looking forward to doing some outdoor soil gardening this upcoming season!!

As far as seedlings go
20230124_092107.jpg
These two are the Raindance and Hindu Kush X Blue guava topped for 3 and 4 tops (one Got broken off lol) and i flipped them to 12/12 today and will continue for 2 weeks and then revert them to 18/6+ (I'm running 24/0 to help with temps)

Temperature is very low in this house like average 65-68. I ordered a small heater.. if it makes a big difference in the 5x5 I'll get one for the 2x4. I'm going to adjust fans in an attempt to increase temps. I might need to put the fan on the floor as my exhaust and the high one as the intake to try and trap the heat.

I planted some auto crosses I haven't tested out which are lemon haze auto crosses. I crossed it with wicked witch f2 , nite blood, and "ob8". I never had a good harvest of the original buds but if these all autoflower it would be nice for giving away and using outside and in between grows.
20230124_092220.jpg
Honeybee has made it to the party. I think these cold temps are really fucking with my germination practices. I'm still trying to pop bad dawg star fighter and long bottom seeds as well as the bob bitchen collab doc dank bean. I won't give up lol!

Last and not least my new worm bin. I got a lil worm blanket to hopefully help them stay warm.. I'm really looking forward to this. I put a slurm sticker on it I have an ass load of stickers I think I'm going to put them all over this thing! I really wanted to get a slurms Mckenzie sticker for it lol.

The reveg is coming along fast for all the plants besides the keeper pheno of greases pieces. It is starting to reveg though I added some pics of the 2x4 with my lemon tree and a close up of the twisty reveg going on. I also put a pic of the 5x5 I'm still working on setting up.20230124_092312.jpg20230124_092324.jpg

I want to add in that I had a small rip in my 2x2 ac infinity tent. Without many questions they immediately sent a whole new cover it must have been a manufacturer defect. The zipper on this tent is great and It would be cool if some grow companies sold fix/mod kits and replacement parts for the tents itself.

Imagine being able to add in a draw string port with a DIY kit or replace the zipper or even extend the tent out like gorilla does but a custom riser kit. Also being able to have a fix for a hole like a patch kit would be pretty sick! I would also buy a 5x5 tent liner for my tent because it got ripped

The hole was tiny.. ac infinity did right sending out the new cover. Big props on the customer service . Anytime I've had an issue ac infinity has took care of me quickly which is all you can really ask for. All they want is the number that was stamped underneath the mounting plate on an orange tag20230125_103339.jpg

Not much to report.
I planted some auto seeds i made last year they finally sprung up. I think I'm going to wait a week or two to start some more seedling

I bought a heater to help with the seedling tents temperature but I accidentally heated up my two seedlings that I had in the 2x2 under 12/12 and almost fully killed one.. lol
Hopefully that one I almost killed was a male they both were almost ready to transplant or top again. To see if it's a male or female I just leave it in 12/12 for 2 weeks then put it back to veg. I'm going to start doing this with all my seedlings so I don't transplant into a big pot and waste my time and coco.

The reveg is looking better and better. The greases pieces pheno I want to come back the most is taking the longest (back right plant) of course. But it is re vegging on the bottom looking healthier each day

I hope everyone is doing well! I also want to announce I will be using different nutrients this run. I noticed the plagron advertisements on the banner and did a little research and ended up talking to Hidde about this product. They are a Dutch nutrients company started from the ground up and I like that. I'm excited to see how they perform I will journal how I use their line up and want to give @PlagronOfficial a big shout out and thank you for working with me.

The GH 3 part has been fun
The megacrop 2 part worked fine but messed up my reservoir
The megacrop 1 part was nice but same thing
Used to use biobizz but that was soil and the results were nice
I loved dynagro foliage pro when I was doing hempy when I first started

I'm always excited to try new things let's do this!

Nutrients came in yesterday! They sent me out 5 bottles so once I use up what's left in my 27gal water res I'll start using this stuff.
The bottles it is in are very rigid, and the 5liter bottles are capped very very tightly so some people may need a wrench to get the cap off at first lol. Thanks again Hidde for giving me a sample to try out I'm super excited!

My Raindance plant (which I think is a male) already has that STINK to it. It got hit hard when I was using the heater and got fried almost killed. It has 1 branch that is bent and weak looking now.. we will see if it pulls thru I splinted it up

The Hindu kush x Blue agave is definitely female so I'll be transplanting, topping , and putting it back into veg cycle. This plant didn't get hit as hard by the heater

Worm bin seems happy I was digging around in there today and it looks like I've got it at a good humidity and ratio of scraps! It's going to be sweet having my own worm castings for outdoors. I have to clean up a spot where I got all of my amendments and once the weather gets warmer I'm going to start getting my ingredients ready

Got some Venus fly traps today I'm so excited!

Had to cut off alot of reveg. Things are looking good with the new seedlings but growth is slow due to cold temps. Can't wait to get some clones and keep things moving, the greases pieces I want to clone is taking its damn time revegging lol

I transplanted the blue agave x Hindu kush into its final pot, it should be ready to flower in a week or something.20230216_191915.jpg20230215_063916.jpg20230215_063855.jpg20230215_063844.jpg

So far so good with the plagron nutes. It has been very stable in the reservoir all week and the plants look happy! I'm excited to see how the plants perform into flower

Got a little work done today. Cleaned up the 2x2 and clone tents. Threw a bunch of seedlings into the 2x2 for a few weeks they'll be under 12/12 to reveal gender.

Put the 4 autoflower seedlings into the same pot in the clone chamber

Going to be pulling clones off the greases pieces pheno #2 (fluffier pheno) and the monkey juice, and then I'll be putting the 5x5 back into action flowering these two revegged plants and also the Hindu kush x Blue agave.

Still waiting on the greases pieces #1 pheno to throw some growth out. The 2x4 will be dedicated to the lemon tree and the Greases pieces 1 pheno, and eventually the 4 auto's in one pot. Some of the auto's could be male. I'll have plenty of space in the 5x5 and I'll be preparing all the coco coir for any females I get from the 2x2
The plagron nutrients so far are a breeze. Super stable pH and good growth

Got the clones cut and stuffed into the clone tent. I decided to try and see if the lemon tree will root a few branches!

The 2x4 tent is stuffed for now too. I plan on flowering the revegged moms once I am sure the clones are rooted. Not sure if I'm gonna run them anymore.

Got a new selection of seeds ready.

I've got spider mites so I decided to start over. I'm going to keep a few plants of the small plants going and see if I can treat them..

Also have to move all my grow equipment to a new room and stuff. I'll be building my big chamber about 5' x 4' and it should be great once its done. Man I fuckin hate spider mites

Pest management will be as this.. rinse them, cut them back, then let them bounce back a little. Spray with aza , wait 7-10 days, spray with deadbug, repeat with diluted every 7 days. After a month or so then add predatory mites

I'm really interested in breeding predators. Is there a chance the mites came from my worm bin?

So I'm still working on setting up the new area. I have finished framing and adding the orca film material for the walls. I plan on adding a layer of bubble wrap then using velcro for roll up doors

I am going to defoliate, spray for mites, and once I get some fresh growth (they've been neglected during the big move) I'll take clones. For females this round it is..
-funky cold medina by plant time genetics
-putang bx courtesy of Bad Dawg
-Chinook haze by greenpoint
-rhubarb s1 by 3thirteen
-honeybee (badly runted by me) by Bob bitchen
-greases pieces by 3thirteen
-a plant that I lost the label for I think it's the blue agave or whatever

The worm bin is doing great also and I'm preparing my amendments for the outdoor season. Life is going great for me I found out I'm going to be a dad! So I've been doing a lot of other stuff to get prepared and this hobby will likely be getting smaller for me once the baby is here.

One thing I'd like to note is the plagron nutes were very stable in my reservoir.. like for over a month lol. I am impressed with how easy they are to use I don't have a huge list of complicated measurements instead it's just a 1:1 ratio of a to b and whatever else I wanna use20230410_150446.jpg20230410_150458.jpg20230410_150516.jpg20230410_150522.jpg
